The cable is designed to be used as a paired wire, not a single conductor, as indicated by the 66-foot length. The cable is not 20 AWG as stated on the listing. It's extremely light.

I'm not sure how these companies get away with it, but this isn't 20 gauge wire; it's thinner than my 22 gauge wire, and I don't know what else is thinner.
Despite the fact that the wire is labeled "20 AWG" all along its length, it is far from compliant. The resistance of a 20 AWG wire is less than 10 ohms per 1000 feet, or 1. The resistance is 2 ohms per 120 feet. The resistance is 6 ohms for 120 feet (60 feet x 2), according to the measurements I took. That's a five-fold increase in resistance, equivalent to a 26 or 28 AWG wire!.
Prior to making my purchase, I should have read the reviews. It's unfortunate that you must misrepresent the product.
I've been known to forget about the lights and leave them on for up to two days at a time, despite the fact that the wires remain cool to the touch. They simply perform admirably.

I assumed it was everything I'd bought, but it turned out to be just the wire, which made me feel better about my decision. If you're familiar with wire, copper is the best, but it's also the heaviest. This wire's oxygen-free copper, rather than aluminum-coated copper, appealed to me greatly. This item is also pre-tinned, making soldering a breeze. I strongly advise you to do so.
It would be ideal if it were on a spool.
