Questions & Answers
The clips are designed to connect directly to the led tape, so I'm not sure why they're sold with the spool of wire; soldering the wires to it is nearly impossible, and even if you do, the clasp won't close.
I don't have any more measurements to take, but the connecting clips were terrible.
Purchase good insulated wire with a high temperature rating.
We never use clips and instead solder wire to the strips, so we can't really help you.

Instructions are required for the use of the plastic clips. The wire is excellent and simple to use. Because you don't need to measure the strip again, the clips work perfectly for connecting two strips of 10mm LEDs, as if you'd cut it at the wrong point by accident. You know where you're supposed to cut it, and what does your wife know if she says you're cutting it in the wrong spot? SNIPPITY SNIP! You have an engineering degree, and women are notoriously bad at math, so SNIPPITY SNIP! *Sigh. * But, hey, these clips do a fantastic job of holding the LED strip in place. In my case, I offered a heartfelt apology and admitted to being a brick-layer. headed d- a bag of Häagen-Dazs, and a pint of Häagen-Dazs The other part was fixed by Dazs. br>br>However, trying to use the clips ON these wires was a different story - It's possible that soldering them in would have worked, but since I was soldering, I figured I'd as well solder them directly to the LED strip. When I tried to use the clips without solder on the wires, the act of closing the clip moved the wires away from where they needed to be to work properly. There might be a trick to using the clips with the wire somewhere in the instructions, but I don't need to read instructions because I have an engineering degree. Alternatively, double-check the figures. br>br>I'm theorizing here because I haven't tried it myself, but my wife says I'm fine with that. when it comes to a brick headed d- bag. It's possible that soldering them to the clip will A. If you don't take care, the clip will melt, and B. Make a connector that can be snapped onto an LED strip and then unsnapped later. It's very secure when snapped on, so if you need a very secure but temporary connection to an LED strip, this could be a good option.
I originally purchased this with the intention of using the cable and clamps to extend the life of my current LED lights. Regrettably, the wire is designed for soldered connections only, and the connectors are designed for non-soldered connections only. connections that have been soldered br>br>I'm not sure why this is a bundle when the wire and connectors are incompatible. You'd need a different wire if you wanted to use the connectors, and you'd have to use different connectors if you wanted to use the wire. br>br>By attempting to solder the wires onto the pins, I foolishly assumed these items were meant to be used together and destroyed several of the connectors. THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! It will melt the casing and destroy the connectors, rendering the device unusable. The wire is fine, and the clips are fine as well, but the two do not work together. So, if you want to solder your strips or use the clips to connect two strips, they'll work individually, but you won't be able to use the clips to connect the wire, as one might expect given that they're sold as a set.
If you're a do-it-yourselfer, this is a good option. Some people are incapable of thinking outside the box. If you're buying this wire, chances are you're going to use it to power my RGB LED lights. Yes, you must put in some effort. Yes, soldering will be required if you're using it to bridge lights so that no light shines where it shouldn't. I'll post some pictures as soon as I finish the work. I'll have to make time to complete the task. If you want to keep the light in one place, you'll need to solder the connectors on both ends.
Because the connector is not solderless and there is no way to connect the wire to these connectors without a soldering kit, using this as an extension RGB cable is difficult.
I recently purchased Kicker KM65 Marine speakers for my Jeep, and these wires are ideal for them. When compared to kickers rgb wiring, this is a ten out of ten. Purchase this wire to save money.
Most of my connectors were destroyed by the jacket on these wires. Alternatively, the connectors may be unable to support the load. In any case, I'm finding that LED lighting comes in such a wide range of colors that it's difficult to use. br>Wire is good in general, but soldering with it may be preferable.
Strip-to-strip connections are possible with the connectors. It would be preferable if you included cable to strip connectors as well as cable to cable connectors. Provide a link to the connectors, or at the very least a link to them.
