Hello, all PAUTIX COB strips have copper tabs and are scaled at about a one-to-one ratio. Cut the COB strip in the middle of the copper sheet to the length you need, then connect the 8mm wide COB strip with these connectors. That is to say, you can not use 100% of the COB light strip but you can also connect longer length on the basis of the original COB light strip on the basis of the original% Please contact us at the following address if you have any further questions: [email protected] is an email address that you can use to contact Pautix Service. com.

With a voltmeter, I verified that the connector was receiving 9 volts. On the other hand, the lights should not be turned on. br>Simple Suggestions:
- Take note of the black and red wires' direction to the light stripe with the yellow side up as you watch the video. I'm not sure if it matters (are there positive and neutral sides to a stripe?). ) but once I had the black on the left side of the light stripe, looking down, the black and red wires were further away from you than the light stripe, and the yellow side of the light stripe was up. It's easier to understand what I'm talking about if you watch the video. They were always effective. br>- Cut the light stripe shorter at the end so that the copper tab is longer. To put it another way, cut a little off-center rather than in the center. To give the light stripe you're using a little more copper tab length, place it in the center. This allows the crimp to make contact with a larger surface area. br>- Install the crimp connector on the same side as the yellow light stripe or with the metal crimps facing up. br>- My light stripe didn't go in as smoothly as it did in the video. So, after peeling back the adhesive cover, I rubbed some adhesive off the tip with my fingers and a light alcohol wipe, allowing it to slide into the connector without the adhesive getting in the way.
- Finally, I used electrical tape to cover the connector to prevent shorting of the two metal crimps that remain exposed after pinching (crimping) them down with plyers. Water could short it out if the connector gets wet, which is unlikely because mine was under a kitchen cabinet.
The ease with which it can be installed and set up is outstanding. They're adaptable, unobtrusive, and produce uniform illumination that's superior to anything else I've tried. I really like this product and the price, so I'll be buying it again.
For my COB strip lights, other connectors were ineffective. These did an excellent job! Pautix has the best customer service I've ever encountered, which is rare these days!.
It was put together and done, but it wasn't supposed to be done.
Lights were extended around the kitchen using connectors. Heat shrunk wire connections to the wires, rather than soldering, by cutting jumpers in half.
These do what they're supposed to do. Simple to work with. Remember not to cross the polarities when making contact.
This product, as well as potential buyers, are deserving of a positive review. These lights were used to create an over-the-shoulder look. lighting in the cabinet This review, on the other hand, is applicable to any application. Installing them is a breeze. I was concerned about splicing at the corners because of my previous experience with other products. There's no issue. The connectors and light strip are very easy to put together. A squeeze of the needle nose tightens up the spice. Done! There are two words of caution. It makes no difference which side of the yellow light strip the corner splice wire is connected to. However, make sure the black and red wires are on the same side on both ends of the splice, and be careful not to bare the sticky strip when removing it from the 3M tape. If you just peel and go, the sticky top layer will most likely come off with it. Separate the first inch with care, making sure the sticky is still attached to the light strip. This is an excellent item.
