I just installed and connected the same Honeywell switch to my Samsung SmartThings hub as the GE 14291 I recently installed. A series of switches made by JASCO are used in both applications. The pros are GE manual is printed in a much larger and more readable format The cons are If the switch is off, the LED will stay on.

I bought this switch together with the GE Zwave switch - so far, it has worked just fine. I finally realize that they look identical, and that without the GE logo on one, it is almost impossible to tell them apart! Then I find out that both are made br>Packaging/br>The product came in a box along with the user manual, an extra paddle, and a white jumper wire. The manual has a lot of instructions and you should read it if you are a beginner at electrical work. It's a self-learning machine that learns to distinguish which line is LIVE and which is NEUTRAL over time. In other words, do not be confused by the device's line/neutral sign Despite the fact that I am not an electrician, I have replaced a lot of switches in my old house over the past four I have never found an easier way to plug + tighten a pole and romex cable. everything has been wired correctly, you will see the blue LED coming on as soon as the power is switched I watched a few videos the next day and read a few Reddit comments, and I found out that the switch needs to be reset! Therefore, press the up paddle and down paddle 3 times very quickly while the switch LED is glistening. This will result in the LED blinking for few times if you did it correctly. you can get "Add Node" on Home Assistant by clicking the paddle on top. After you have healed the network, you should be able to see this switch. In addition to this one, there are 2 more ZWave switches right next to it. Nothing interferes with it and it seems to work fine. The review will be updated as the plan evolves and if anything changes I will update it accordingly.
