Having used the TreatLife products for a few weeks now, I am getting addicted. My next step is to try one of their ceiling fan switches since I was impressed by the smart bulbs and plugs. The only thing this does is control the fan, which is exactly In my experience as a homeowner, I have a little bit of basic electrical knowledge (most of my generation does), so I read/followed the instructions and got the switch installed in 30 minutes or less. I really like it! You will no longer need to get up to turn the fan on. As well as changing the fan speed, this item affects the speed of the motor. There is actually one more speed on my fan now! The Alexa App on my iPhone or the TreatLife App on my Amazon Echo allow me to control it. The fact that I won't be at home does not mean I won't answer.
The Treatlife nightlight that we got for my daughter made me curious to see their other products, so I went to their website and found out more Our kitchen had recently been renovated and we were being introduced to "smart" appliances, so this seemed like a good idea. This means that, because it is a smart/Wifi enabled device, it requires a neutral wire that may or may not be in place in the outlet. We were fortunate that ours did, so it was just a matter of plugging it in. This light had difficulty connecting to the app while the light with the app was easy to set up. As soon as the light lit up, it went out. Neither a delay nor a hiccup were encountered. That one I liked, that one I did not. This is a bad batch file that I received for some reason, so I'm not sure if it was user error or a bad batch. In total, 6 attempts were required for the app to register, and then the connection was dropped. I had to restart the phone I had connected it to and start the process over before I was able to get it to sync. is that once everything was set up, Alexa imported the data from the app and everything just kept working. Although the device doesn't seem to be working perfectly due to the app, overall it was a decent setup. Everything seems to be going well so far.
There is almost no room for dummies. Installing the app went smoothly with no problems when it came to linking my Google account or having the app set up. There is only one complaint I have, which is that the connection plate is a bit thicker than the other switches in the same box, so the plate itself sticks out a bit where it connects. My favorite part of the new speed control is that I can modify it with my voice.
Easy to install and work well, these switches are at the top of their class. Switched) the 4 speeds are a nice addition, as most fans and heaters have four speeds There are three speeds on remote controls, but all of them can be changed to four. The fan should be set to high (if there is a motor switch on the fan) and the string control should never be used I really like the app The search engine finds & quickly displays the results of your search Adapts Treatlife products to meet specific needs. It's just a few words away from the fan working once you add the skill to Alexa. I love this switch for controlling the fans!.
They do not at all, not that I am saying anything against them. My house had a licensed electrician install the wiring. You may find them at your home, but not at mine. Connected to my network, but not connecting to the Internet. In addition to the WiFi switch, there are We were not able to use these. It's my fault.
This system is easy to install, and you can control it with the app or via All I had to do was figure out how to get my existing 3-year subscription Unlike most switch faces, this one is a bit thick, so gang face play is designed to sit flush against the wall. Would love to see TreatLife open up their API so I can write some of my own customizations or to integrate it This includes all- I think this is an excellent fan control app with a reliable fan control.
There was no need to buy a new cover plate since the switch was the same size as an ordinary rocker switch. Despite only having a few minutes to spare, my father was able to install each switch. Also, it was very simple to use the app with the switch. A video is available on Amazon that explains how to do it. Now that I can control my fans from my phone, I feel like I'm a high tech individual.
