Questions & Answers
It is true that I can turn on the fan and turn off the light simultaneously with the sliding switch, and the fan will continue to spin.
The answer is yes. Switches only operate lights to be on and off and sliders only control the fan's speed up and down. The fan will not run if the slide control is all the way down.
This questionnaire measures your understanding of the Light and fan control for the LF is designed for use with an LED light. With the slider, you can load up a 5A fan motor, and with the toggle below the slider, you can switch on and off 360W of incandescent/halogen lights. In general, Lutron does not recommend using the slider to control lighting loads, or to use the toggle switch to control fan motor loads. In any case, as long as you separate the switch legs for the fan and light, you should be able to use the S2 switch The LFSQ The control can be used to control both fan speed and lighting level at the same time.
When the switch is operated at any speed, there is no hum

It is the first one I installed in my son's bedroom and it has been a great success. In most areas, it is difficult to find a switch that controls both the fan speed and the light. In the switch area, all the switches are light almond, and this makes the switches hard to find. I found the instructions to be very clear and easy to follow. We had three wire conductors and a ground run to each fan when we built the house, so wiring it up was as easy as putting it in the switch box and then wiring up the motor and light on their own circuit on Using this switch will not work if you have only two conductors and a ground for your fan. The product is really great, as I must say.
There are a lot of trees on the property and my house was built in 1998. Great switch that looks and works well. I built my house in 1998, and on the wall there was a switch for turning the fan on and off, and a switch for regulating how fast it spun. The instructions were only meant to direct you to connect the on and off switches and the speed control. Although I was able to control the speed of the motor with this switch, the on/off function still had to be.
I was looking for something exactly like this. A simple fan with a slider control, on/off for lights, and no dimming was exactly what I wanted in a bedroom. Lights and fans are both independent so you can sleep with the fan on as well.
Two of these were in my last residence and I had no problems with them. We have moved and installed two NEW Lutron Skylark SFSQ-based automation systems Five and a half years ago, I installed LF switches in the new house. There was one that went bad last year. There was another bad one It is my major concern (which is why I only gave this movie one star) that the sizzling and light flashing (when the light was on) left me fearing it was an electrical fire or electric.
This is the fifth of these I have bought for two Now my wife doesn't have to reach ceiling fan pull chains anymore, since she is too short. As long as you have the extra hot lead, which is normally red, it is easy to wire them.
It took only a few minutes to install. I was looking for something like this. Thank you!.
It is true that these birds are very rare By using binary on-off switches A switch for turning the fluorescent lamp off and a switch for turning it off in three stages A speedy computer. In both directions Control of the ceiling fan has been turned off. Apparently "Ivory" is darker than "Almond" (but close enough if you have This product does not come with a wall plate. Clear and concise instructions are provided in the instruction sheet. I will be getting more of these to replace Pass & Key products were installed by the electrician in new construction (since they were the only ones available at the time) with a two-year warranty Putting the dimmer on the lamp (are likely to burn out the ballasts and cause the lamps to blink).
I have not tested it yet, but it works fine. Since getting it a few months ago, I have not had any issues. The fan is easy to install as long as you have the three wires needed to connect the fan. The wire I needed to run for mine was new.
