Whenever the switch is switched on or off, the entire device is destroyed. If you only have one power feed and wish to utilize it for a light and a fan, this unit is designed for you. You can have separate controls for each device separately. The actual working principle is that wireless signals are sent between the transmitter at the wall and the receiver in It is possible to disable the push buttons with the on off switch if you have young children or other people who like to play
There is only an on/off switch on the light switch portion. You can run the fan on low, medium, or high speeds. This dimmer does not work with LED bulbs but works with incandescent bulbs.
This kit includes both a wall controller and a receiver.
You are right. Initially they're set to 1, 2, 3, but it looks like they can be changed. There is no wireless capability on the item nor is it mentioned on the packaging of the item. I had to return it as the title claims it is wireless but it is not. Just like any wall switch, it requires 120v to turn on and an electrical line to run to the

The good thing from that is it initially solved my problem of not having enough wires at my fan to control both the fan speed and the light. I needed four wires to control both the fan speed and the light, and there were only three As far as the fan and light are concerned, both can come on at random times and at various speeds. In other words, it makes no sense. A neighbor is the only person I share my home with in a rural setting. I will try changing the dip switches, but I am not confident that it will fix There appears to be a possibility the fan or light will come on if there is a flicker. Furthermore, the brand of the item I received was Westinghouse, but the photo was similar. A revised version of this document has been added We borrowed the fan control from our neighbor, who lives a short distance away, and sure enough it was set to the same dip switch settings as ours. Our dip switches were swapped, and for the last two weeks we've had no problems. I would like to be able to dim the lights, but this is not a huge issue. Thus, by controlling the light and the fan simultaneously, what was formerly just a light switch was now able to control both things. It means that you won't have to retire, which is a tremendous benefit.
The ad states that this is wireless, but it is not. A wired switch is all it is. There needs to be a wire that runs from the ceiling to the wall switch box, as with any wired light switch. The website is misleading and wastes plenty of.
There is a Savoy House 14-inch television in my house I cannot cope. I had a problem with my fd and the wall control/switch, WLC300. This is no longer made or sold by Savoy House, so I thought I had to replace the fan, however I tried this version and it worked without having to make any changes to You got it.
According to its description, however, the switch cannot be wireless it must be hardwired There is no indication of this fact in the product description.
An item of the same kind died in our office. Our efforts to revive it were in vain since we dismantled it and tried to The device is the same as the previous one, so I ordered it. Having the ability to set fan options, or turn on the light, with just a press of a button makes life so much easier. Our fixture's receiver piece is hidden well inside the top of the.
It is not possible to control dimmable or non-dimmable bulbs with such switches. It is, therefore, a waste of money. In light of the fact that I had four sets installed AND then found out this was incorrect. If I get a complete refund, that would be great.
I had previously bought my fan from Lowes and was having problems with the ceiling fan and previously had a problem with the green button on the wall control, so I knew I needed to replace the receiver and the wall control on my fan. Combining these two packages was the right move. Replacement is easy On all the wires, there were the same colors. I set the dip switches in the same way as the bad ones I was replacing and it worked! One of the simplest 1-steps I've seen It took several hours to flip the breaker, and a lot of running up and down the stairs! This bundle looks great!.
There is no 240V power supply required, but it requires 110V to operate.
