Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use it on two computers When the other switch is always on, does that mean we can use the pole switch?

The likelihood is unlikely. but may burn it up because double the rated voltage of the switch will cause it to fail. Depending on the voltage, a two pole switch can be connected to one or two hots (110/230 volts). There is a 220 volt supply to the 2P switch if it is connected to two hots. The 2 pole switch would function in this case as long as it is connected to the same 110 volt hot supply.

What is the dimming function of this as well?

As I type this, I am actually looking at the TP-Link product page The Link H220 dimming dimmer. I'm so excited about this dimmer! I noticed Amazon mixes up the questions and product reviews for all toilet paper Products can be linked. You have to search for your answer if you want to find it. Three- to four-year-olds are mentioned by some respondents A way and a four Only available for single-way setup. The dimmer H220 cannot be used with multi-way setups There are several configurations of poles that are available.

Apple Homekit Can this be controlled through it?

You can create a shortcut on your iPhone and control it with Siri or the native Shortcuts app of Apple. No apple homekit yet, but you can still manage shortcuts on your iPhone. On and Off icons can even be added to your iPhone screen for easy switching.

What if we don't want to use the provided faceplate? This will be installed in a dual gang box with another switch right next to ?

The supplied faceplate does not have to be used. There will be no problem fitting a standard two-liter In case you want to install two side-by-side buttons, you'll need to order two gang faceplaces (for the appropriate size of buttons) It is typically on the left-hand side of the switch, or next to it in a two-gang switch It is called a "gang box.". I have done this twice now, and neither time has been a challenge (apart from a little fiddling to get the two switches lined up correctly).

The work was done under the cover of a 2-gang The product is exactly what was I like the ease of installation
5/5

It's my first time ever that I had to change or touch a light switch more than just turning on/off a As I mentioned, I am concerned that in my garage I have a 2 gang switch (one for the outside lights and one for the garage lights). I am wondering if one of these smart switches will fit next to the regular switch and under the same I can tell you that everything was in order.

In recent months, I have been spending a lot of money on Smart Home technology
4/5

Over the past several months, I've spent a lot of money on Smart Home tech, including brands such as Wink, Hue, Smart+/Lightify, August, Schlage, Out of all brands, I have found the Kasa brand to be the most reliable, and to cause the least amount of heartburn! In most cases, they respond almost instantly (almost The only reason I gave it only four stars is because I really like this game. You might ask yourself, "What could Kasa possibly do to merit a fifth star?"? Rather than using only decora / rocker style switches, offer a toggle design. As my wife won't let me put them in my home and these don't fit the aesthetics of my home, I need to get rid of them There are so far two locations that have been sighted (under the cabinets and in the garage).

This works well and is energy efficient, but it's only possible to toggle it on and off from the lower portion
4/5

It's been about a month since I got this and I'm very happy with As well as on the app, it also works with As far as installation is concerned, it was straightforward. One of the best features is that it is more energy efficient than competing ) and found how warm it was odd. A friend of mine suggested I buy this TP In one room, you installed the switch, then you installed it in another room as a comparison. You can touch this switch without getting hot. The light uses a little electricity, even when it is turned off, but not enough to be noticed. As part of the Despite it being about eight degrees warmer than ambient room temperature, the Link Switch still remains relatively cool. Leviton's switch was about 20 degrees warmer, which is noticeable. * *By comparison, I am not a fan of the fact that you must push the lower section to It is expected that you will push the top in order to turn it on. It doesn't seem to happen there though (you can't depress it so you understand something isn't A toggle switch toggles on or off when you press the lower section. While it works well, it isn't as intuitive as the Leviton switch, which allows you to turn it on and off using the upper and lower sections. However, even so, you are able to The lack of this feature does not stop me from buying more of them. In the attachment, I have photos of this switch and another showing the temperature being measured. There is no communication between them. Due to its higher energy efficiency, it shows that this one is much cooler. The temperatures were measured with an IR temperature sensor from Fluke. The LCD images attached to this post show the DMM7510 measuring current and voltage (see various screen grabs). About 0 is what I found for the power. A switch that is off will use 5 W. A switch that is on will use 1 W. Switch on the switch and you will receive 62 W. Compared to the Leviton switch (1, this was 3 times less power when the switch was off. When on or off, 86W will appear at the top of the screen).

I don't think it's a big deal
5/5

I can't believe the amount of techically inept people spewing out hate. I like this a lot. I've had no problems with it. The first step is to You must follow the instructions carefully when installing the switch- Here are the easy steps to follow You can download the KASA app here You can create your account at the KASA website easily by following these steps By tapping the device name on the Kasa site, you can access your account There is a screen for it, with options such as Schedule, Away, Timer, an off/on button, and an icon that looks like three little sliders at the top right corner. the icon to open the Device Settings screen. After you open the screen, slide the Remote Control slider icon to the right so that it is lit control ON is required when used outside of your network OR (Fourth alternative In the Device Settings menu of the Kasa app, select either "local" or "remote" operation connected to the switch. 5 ) Step Linking an ALEXA account and enabling a skill are done through the ALEXA app. The consequences of screwing up are Delete the KASA app switch and press the reset button for 10 seconds then start the app all This is a reminder that the 11/29/19 update is out I have had zero issues in the past 2 years and 9 months.
