There's more to buying the remote than just the device itself! It may be noted somewhere, but you're also purchasing the receiver (which I did not need) which theoretically means that you can retrofit this to any fan even if it did not come with a remote at first (if you find a place for the receiver to go)

When I got it I realized why the price was so high, but when I thought it was too high, I realized why when I received it. There is a remote and a receiver included with it.

The old remote was chewed beyond recognition by our new puppy, so we had to replace it with the same model. It did take me a while to program this remote to work with the old box, due to the fact that I could not get the old one to work with this Although the replacement of the hardware overhead was the trickiest part, once it had been done everything worked smoothly. Using the wall mount that comes with this remote and the original remote, I mounted this controller on the wall so I wouldn't have to worry about it being tempted by the dog or lost! I was pleasantly surprised that it works as promised and is worth the effort!.

There is an annoying single button to control lamp power and dimming on most retrofit remotes. With this one, you have the Power, Increase, and Decrease buttons all on the same button. It is the best option for those with two wire circuits that they can't upgrade. There is a fan control on the fan that works and is reasonably A minor complaint is that there is a long delay between turning on the power and the light turning on/fan turning on. It is unfortunate that the lighting circuit no longer works after a thunderstorm. The reason could be that there is a weak component in the system, or it could be The thought of removing the fan for replacement makes me a little nervous.

This is a great replacement controller, but it is I was looking for a replacement for my original fan controller, but it was a lot more expensive than it should have been

When I asked fanmation to honor their warranty with an issue with the same fan, their response was absurd. I have installed their fans throughout my house because of their warranty and I am not too impressed with their products. Be sure to check the fine print! Once I've paid for the shipping of the whole fan. If I bought a new one, I would be happy!.

You can adjust the fan speed and light brightness by pressing the up/down arrow buttons on the fan. By pressing a button, you can turn on or off the fan or light. Seeing as how it rests on my desktop, I like its compact size and compact design.
