Product Description

The transmitter is the only thing it does. Neither a receiver nor a 23A 12V" battery is included in this package. A low battery indicator means the battery is in a low power status if the indicator light remains on.

The Hampton Bay UC7083T remote control has been adapted to have reverse functions.

TWO LIGHT SYSTEMS - You can turn the lights on or off, but the reverse of that function can also be performed.

The 3 SPEED button controls three fan speeds (high, medium, and low). It is important to note that the reverse button will function if your receiver has that feature. You must use incandescent bulbs so that you can adjust the brightness with the dimmer button. You can control the on/off of LED lights if they are LED bulbs.

Remote Control for Ceiling Fans - Make sure the dip switches on your receiver match the dip switches on your Providing the receiver is attached to the fan (and the dip switches are the same as well). Ceiling fans from Hampton Bay and Harbor Breeze can be controlled by this remote. Please remember to set the 4 dip switches in the compartment for the batteries (they are hidden behind the slot for the batteries).

Unfortunately, we did not sell a separate remote holder.

Does it have a RF or an IR signature?

RF is the only way to go. Despite having no line of sight to it, I am able to control it from another room.

Is there a reason why the fan sometimes turns on by itself?

In the event that you have more than one ceiling fan controlled by the same remote, please make sure the PIN codes are different among these ceiling fans, or else the ceiling fan may be operated by the transmitter next door or your neighbor's remote in The fan may turn on strangely while you are away from home because of this problem. As a result, in this case, please change the frequency of both the fan light and the remote control at the same time. It is not possible to pair devices that do not have the same frequency. Using this method, you can set different PIN codes if you wish to control more than one ceiling fan.

I was able to install the program quickly! would have to take the fan apart to find out what the code settings were for my remote, but according to the instructions, there are a limited number of configurations for the code so it is easier just to try them one by one and you'll be fine in 5 minutes

The remote I had used to control my TV was stolen after I moved into my new Since I rarely used this remote, I was not sure if it was the same as the one for another fan. Fortunately the owner had another remote for another fan. I tried seven different codes and now I can dim/increase the lights and switch the speeds of the fans. I'm in love with The instructions I'm talking about are on the product description page on Amazon's website. My remote does not come with any paper instructions. In theory, the fan light should be switched on/off immediately with this code. The pairing process is not as simple as that of The remote I have now will be in my safe - I'm not hoping anyone will point fingers!.

Replacement remote works just as well as the original that came with the I had a need for one in a hurry, and shipping times for the many choices, basically this brand and Hampton Bay, were long

However, the shipping speed for this item was fast. However, my fan does not have a reverse function, even though the remote is equipped for it, so I cannot comment on this, just to say based on how well all the other functions work right out of the box, I'm sure the reverse function works as well. My experience with the other brands is that they have lasted virtually forever without even a battery change, so I hope that this will also be the case. This brand was much cheaper than the other brand, and if it continues to work for awhile, this is a great choice. (I have or have had four remote controls. Due to my new one, I now have 4 again after one got lost).

It is for some reason that Hampton Bay no longer offers these remote controls During our 7-year relationship, we have learned a lot. Thus, it is clear that companies do not make products that will last because once they are no longer in stores, they will not support them. Despite trying another brand less model, it did not I found this one to work very well. Your help is much appreciated!.

Compared to my other remote, which had stopped controlling my fan, this one is a perfect replacement. Besides the remote, there was a part that held it to the wall. The original remote might have been with my home at the time of purchase however, when I bought my house, only the remote was present.

The new remote was taken out of the box, the DIP switch in the battery compartment was set to match the old remote's, a battery was put in, and the button was pressed to start the game. I'm really happy with it!.
