Having double checked the model number on my Emerson ceiling fan before purchasing, I felt confident that this would be the correct unit. It was easy to install, but the switch would only function on one of the three According to my testing, it was wired correctly, so I believe it to be a faulty Another unit (same model number) has been ordered from a different supplier and the defective unit has been returned. Changing suppliers with this supplier is not something I recommend.

Be sure to test the switches for resistance prior to installation

There is one switch out of two that is not working, so the review would be a five star overall During the package check out, the package did not pass the resistance check. I’m sure that eventually the heat would have caused it to fail even though it might have performed well under load for a while. It is highly recommended that you test these switches prior to ordering and that you.
