I should send the remainder of this bottle back to the manufacturer for preventing My husband was always pulling the chain to adjust the speed of the fan by mistake, which resulted in a roar of frustration every time he was trying to change the fan speed. These outbursts always made me uneasy, and occasionally I would experience a headache a short while later. It is nice to know that my darling spouse is no longer prone to childish tantrums after those outbursts. Hurray! Thanks to the kit including extra amounts of chain to enable us to adjust the fixture as necessary to accommodate our 9 ft-and-11 ft-ceilings. What a clever idea to make a fob that looks like a lightbulb!.
My order arrived as expected and I had no difficulties removing the old chains and attaching the new ones. I bought them for my 7-year-old son's room, but he took the light bulbs out of his hands after he first used them (we got them so he could pull the light string and keep his fan running) and was holding the lightbulb piece in his hand. I had to pull the chain above it or else it kept popping out, since it wasn't hooked in or glued in very securely. I don't know if we got a bad one or if that is how they are made but we put some super glue on it and held it together a while to dry and have not had any further issues since then with the lightbulb.
The chain on the light piece was separated from the bulb when it arrived. Although it was glued, it has held up so far, so I don't expect it to last very long. They do their jobs well. It does not seem to work properly on the light one as it seems elongated. It is perfect to use the fan one.
Despite their heavy weight, they are durable You can very easily figure out which chain controls which fan or light fixture on the I love them because they are so.
With the chains provided, one can adjust the chain length according to the height of the ceiling fan. My purchase has been a great success.
