I would unplug then remove the removable filter and wait 5 minutes before replacing it, and would rinse the water reserve between these steps. Unplugging seems to help when lights remain on after being plugged in.

The water filtration system lasts a long time

My wife and I use it at least several times a day Having had this filter for over six months, we now had to change it. I love how clean and fresh the water comes out. Water delivery services are expensive and this is a much better alternative. You just have to unplug and plug it back in after changing the filter in order to turn off the change filter light.
