With the Dual Replacement Filter (which includes Stage 1 & 2 RO) you get both the sediment pre-filter and the activated carbon pre-filter combined in The Countertop Water Filter Pufication System was specially designed for the AquaTru Countertop Water Filter.

Water is treated with 2 Stage Pre-Filters (Stage 1) to reduce sand, silt, sediment, rust, and other particles. A pre-filter containing activated carbon (Stage 2) removes more than 99% of chlorine and chloramines as well as odor. By removing odors and conditioning the water, this Pre-filter helps improve water quality.

By using this filter, the water is cleaned of sand, silt, sediment, rust, and small particles.

If you want to get the most out of your AquaTru Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Purification System, you must use AquaTru Replacement Filters.

Throughout six months, the dual-function pre-filter (Stage 1 & 2) will work well.

The first time I used mine was six months after I bought it.

How do I find out which AquaTru model is compatible with this?

Your AquaTru can be used with these filters. As far as models go, they are not very different. Our internal model designations have no impact on the consumer, because they are used for our own internal purposes only. AquaTru has only been modified in a few minor ways. User error can now be more easily accommodated by the unit due to simplicity and adaptability of the user interface. The performance of your unit will be the same if you follow the instructions.

How can I find out which models this filter works It is now available in a newer model from AquaTru. A model of the original is in my possession. ?

There is probably a filter on Since using the aquatru system for three years, I have developed a strong attachment with it

Due to the fact that I abhor fluoride in my water, I enjoy it. While it filters the water, the total dissolved solids are still pretty high because it's a countertop reverse osmosis system. Ergo, it's in the range of 120ppm. My TDS was supposed to be zero like the TDS of a zero water filter, but it isn't.

You have chosen the correct filter! Other than these parts work and can be easily installed, there isn't much to say in regards to them

If you wish to drink the water after resetting and running 3 water cycles, make sure to reset the filters button on the back. The fourth is on us.

The filter on the countertop should be of good quality. A rental home would benefit from this. It is very easy to set up and move. Since using the filter, I've saved over $3,000 of wasted electricity.
