Product Description

The safety of your family is a top priority this Megahome distiller is UL (Underwriters Laboratory) certified. As an independent company, UL ensures that products comply with stringent safety standards, and is a trusted worldwide authority on safety science. Distilling 1 gallon every five hours produces the purest water. Distills the water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit which is the correct temperature to remove contaminants or toxins from the water. A set of high quality activated charcoal filters are included as well (optional). Filters such as those on the optional line are used to remove VOCs such as chlorine or other toxins that can form as vapor. In the distillation process, these toxins are captured and removed by the filters.
Glass collection is included with this distiller. The porcelain lined nozzle and glass jar make it easy to clean. Hence, you can be sure that the distilled water you use for all of your needs is pure and safe.

Questions & Answers

This distiller is available to purchase parts for?

They replied to my email, saying that all parts for the distiller are available for purchase. Still, I am not sure how useful it would be to work on the distiller. During my time as a technician, I worked on two Waterwise distillers in the model 4000 series. This Waterwise distiller required new heat transfer paste after quite a bit of use (the paste dried up sooner or later), and two of the fuses blew after some usage. The Megahome distiller appears to be more durable and safer in terms of its design and construction than the Waterwise distiller, at least externally. It has been some time since I took apart the Megahome distiller.

What type of shut-off is it? Is it thermal or water-level? There are reports that thermal shut off models cause hard cleaning due to the minerals that bake onto the coil?

Thermal switches shut it off automatically when it reaches a certain temperature. As a result of different types of water in each household, there are different levels of residue in the boil chamber after the cycle is complete. Despite this, the interior is still moist when finished, so there is no baking involved. For ease of cleaning, the unit comes with a bottle of residue cleaner.

What happens to the distilled water when it comes into contact with plastic?

In the description it QUALITY AT ITS BEST The entire interior and exterior are made of stainless steel, including the boil chamber, upper steam dome, and stainless condenser This is an amazing piece of equipment that allows you to distill sea water. Neither water nor plastic are in contact with one another. WATER OF THE PUREST QUALITY A gallon of distillate is produced every five minutes. You need to read this if you are concerned about all the bad reviews for this unit breaking down! I like it - We have used it every day from day one with no issues
4/5

Please do not run it in the recommended manner In essence, the directions tell you to run the water until it cools to the point where the heat makes the fuse ignite every time the water dries. It will surely die early as a result of that- Putting a device under overload makes it turn off, similar to relying on it to turn off. The design of that part of the unit is poor in spite of the rest of it being decent- Plug it in and it goes. There is no switch to turn it on or off. There is a common complaint here among everyone here. off a star because you don't provide full disclosure on such important details You must think that's pretty important, don't you? However, there's no need to worry - An easy solution. It is easy to get a good digital power on/off timer plug (*$30) at Home Depot or Lowe's, and set it to stop just before your plants dry out (I now set mine to run for 4h55m, after experimenting). I fill it with this method, but it will make just under a gallon, and it takes MUCH longer for scale to form since it doesn't completely dry out, and I dump the few drops of nasty water left at the bottom down the drain me, you won't regret it This will make you glad to see it there and not in your drinking water, so I am glad I bought it. Thank you for your help! The writer, P. If you use the supplied glass jug, please be careful- Despite its thinness and fragility, it is extremely weak.

Make sure you stay vigilant as a buyer! There was no cleaning solution for the bottom of the distiller tank, and it went black no matter what was used to clean it
3/5

There is no honoring of the warranty and no assistance from the company. So we don't give you special advice, never do repairs, never accept returns, and never refund. There is nothing. It is clear that they collected the money but refused to honor the I looked into why stainless steel would turn black and discovered it can only do so where the item has been nickel plated. A black spot can only be formed in this way. I don't like it. Nickel is something no one wants to be involved in. I don't know anyone. Rather than adding inorganic matter, the purpose of this treatment is to remove it from the product. Is Nutriteam really that good?.

An excellent countertop distiller at a great price
3/5

Maybe they have old systems or something, I don't know why there are negative reviews. I have purchased three of these so far, and I intend to buy more of them to give away. Despite this, the first one i purchased mid 2017 still works perfectly fine. I clean it every month or so with 60/40 vinegar and water and run it for 30 minutes, which seems to do the job well. You don't really notice much of a difference in the cleaning solution they send you. As far as assembly is concerned, a freakin' monkey can do it. I run it at least once a day, and it shuts off just fine on its own. It does not justify a negative review for your incompetence if you watch a tutorial. This dispenser is a bit noisy, but that doesn't bother me. It sits near the sink (where it belongs) so I can refill it easily. In addition, a 30$ water dispenser from Walmart could be an excellent idea to keep filled while the carafe is in use. Neither I nor Megahome is an affiliate. I am just a very satisfied Megahome customer. I give this a 5 out of 5! Despite the one star, I intend to give it one star just to prove that you have actually read it.

Nutri provides poor customer service despite having the best distiller in the world
3/5

I love the water distiller, but the customer service at Nutri Team is horrendous. Despite extensive maintenance, I haven't been able to get my distiller to work. The Nutri team got it back to me. The phone has not been answered, emails haven't been replied to, and messages haven't been returned. As a result, I have a half a distiller left and shipping cost me a fortune since I don't live in the US, and the Nutri team has not responded to my inquiry. They haven't even followed up after a month to confirm they've received the lid.

This is the meat and potatoes of the issue
5/5

This software has been used by me for several months now, and I can't think of anything negative Approximately 10 gallons worth of water must be cleaned to remove the Depending on the quality of your own water supply, it may differ. The quality impressed me so much that I bought one for my daughter as well. In addition to drinking water, I use it for cooking as well. The nut having a thickness of has to be stated as part of adding the picture. Two hundred and sixty-five tons. A 6 73mm tire will fit in the 6 73mm tire. After about ten gallons of chlorine have been processed, that is about the height of the chemical buildup left in the tanks. Here's an example of how a water system in Iowa is used for a small city municipality.

An outstanding achievement
5/5

This is an excellent product which I have been using since February 21, 2015. I use it almost every day, and I absolutely love it. Whether you want to watch or not, it's This is a great tool for one person or two at most. Two people can get about a gallon of water daily out of this unit if you keep your water consumption to one gallon per person per day. It has a high level of quality in every aspect. The thing I like best about it is how great it is. Water is filled with so much crap I have no idea how much of it there is The mineral added to tap water is essential if you drink it. The attached pictures are in PDF format. Following a single day of use, the first test is performed. I inhaled an odor of chemicals and toxic junk after the brown oily liquid had evaporated. A week or two after starting the product, the second photo shows the results. Here you can see the amount of trash that accumulates. Regularly drinking water leads to the accumulation of junk in our bodies. Conclusion Overall, this unit has been a good value for the money.
