Coffee brand have half as much activated charcoal as filters from other brands. The filters for my Mr. Coffee machine arrived just now. Mr. Coffee filters were the first kind I bought before, so I know how much charcoal they have. My off brand item just arrived, and when I picked it up, I noticed it had half as much charcoal in it as it should have. It is unlikely that I will return them, but I am pretty sure that next time I purchase I will go back to the Mr. Coffee filters, even though they are more expensive.
That it fit into my MR coffee maker was a plus.
A yes to that statement. I wondered too, so I thought I would share.
I then pop them into a cup of cold water to soak for a few hours first. I then place them in my coffee maker and heat them. In all other respects, they work as they should.
It is the same, if not better, overall performance as name brand filters for coffee pots. For the price you pay, you don't even get what you would get from My next purchase will be this product.
Coffee machine came with this set. The store prices are so high and you don't get that many! I thought it was a great value for the money and fits well.
Deliveries in a timely fashion. I purchased the exact size and shape of these filters, and they fit perfectly in the Water from the coffee maker came out clean and without any charcoal bits after I ran four cups of plain water through The product I recommend is very good.
This is for my Mr Coffee maker, my model number can be found in the listing. This charcoal is usable and pretty much the same size, but lacks the fullness and quantity of charcoals. A change should be made more frequently.
They are versatile enough to be used in my Mr Coffee as well as my Keurig. (Have not tested in Keurig yet, but will post a follow-up if they don't.
