The water inlets are 1/2" FNPT after the tailpieces and nuts are screwed on, but there are no threads if the tailpieces and nuts are removed. As a result, there are no threads on the faucet's inlets to connect a garden hose.

This faucet was purchased three years ago for a sink that gets a lot of use. Seals, as far as I'm aware, Rings and stuff wear out, but when the spout base started spewing water all over the back of my sink, I received no response from the manufacturer when I asked about purchasing replacement parts. So I had to buy the faucet all over again just to remove the spout from the new one and replace it with the old one. Why? You'll enjoy this faucet as well, but be prepared to deal with issues later on:.
It did not come with straddle legs, as mentioned by other reviewers. I was replacing a faucet from the 1940s that was nearly identical, and I was counting on the legs to match the original installation. I ended up making a compatible mount out of 2x2 angle aluminum that I mounted to the cinderblock wall with tapcons. I used a lot of teflon tape and had to really tighten the NPT fittings into the union, but there are no leaks now. So, while I was able to install it, it looks good, and it functions as a utility sink faucet, I docked two stars because it did not come with the stated parts, and I had to spend more money and time to get it to work.
For a marketed purpose, this is a bad engineering design. The garden hose attachment had insufficient threads and was leaking profusely, and the faucet neck was extremely fragile. The pivoting neck seems to be made of 18 Gage or thinner metal. Filling a mop bucket required caution to avoid torqueing the gooseneck faucet with the short hose attached. br>The product is too delicate to be used as a utility faucet, but it appears to be one. I replaced the fractured old supply lines on the original faucet with threaded bushings. br>Product incorrectly labeled and intended for use in laundry or custodial applications. br>The wall mounts were 1/16" (approximately 8 mm) narrower than previous faucet mounts. On the new one, it's 3 and 3/16" versus 3 and 3/16" on the old one. On the original, it was 5". It was a pain to set up. br>In the end, I just used the original faucet body and improvised new bushings. Ugh.
I bought it and I'm not happy with it. According to the description, the center distance is 3 inches. The actual distance is 3 3/8 of a mile. I intend to return.
Laundry faucet with no bells and whistles. One thing to keep in mind is that the faucet isn't "reversible. " My utility sink has an awkward setup, and I couldn't duplicate it because the knobs/valves are not reversible and can only be installed in one orientation. You can switch the hot and cold knobs if necessary, but the valves prevent you from installing the faucet with the two prongs on the back instead of the front. If you have a similar setup, this is just something to keep in mind. The pipe fittings are a little difficult to tighten, and the pipe is secured to the faucet body with a rubber gasket. Make sure your pipes are straight; otherwise, if the faucet is crooked in any way, it may leak.
There are no straddle legs on the product that was sent with the correct model number! I can only stand legs that aren't going to help me!.
The faucet functions and looks great, but I've never used so much teflon tape in my life to keep the 1/2 threads on the water input lines from leaking. I had to remove the fittings twice and re-teflon, with the winner wrapping each one six times with 1/2" teflon tape, which is a lot. The shipping was not great for a prime item; it took 7 days to arrive, which was unacceptable.
It's a well-known fact. made Fossett for the price I paid The hot and cold cartridges are reversed so you pull the handles down the water to turn them on and push them up to turn them off I installed the Fossett backwards before I realized it I'll flip the cartridges around and reverse the position of the Fossett as far as I can see there are no adjustments for the handles mine are pointing straight down and you pull them up to turn them on you cannot center of them I'm not happy with that when I.
