I've had a lot of experience with these faucets, and they're great. I needed to finish a project, so I ordered this. This faucet will not let you down.
I followed the instructions for installing the faucet and turning on the water supply valves, but there was no way to control or stop the flow of water. I called American Standard directly and learned that in order to use this faucet, I would need to purchase an additional battery pack. According to the listing, all of the necessary electronics are housed within the faucet. An internal battery is even mentioned in the faucet's instruction manual. We ordered an external battery (though we would have preferred an internal battery), which costs an extra $80-. Depending on the supplier, it could be as much as $105 per person. To begin with, this is a costly faucet, so receiving it and having it not work at all is infuriating.
