Questions & Answers

Is this going to fit in a regular kitchen sink? This is exactly what I'm looking for to connect my portable dishwasher to. ?

It will only fit a sink in a bathroom or a washroom. If your kitchen sink has three holes, you can move it to one side or the other and plug the hole that isn't covered. However, it will not be able to reach very far into the sinks in this manner.

What is the length of the faucet's actual spout?

The spout on this model is 6-inches long. 1/8"

How tall is this faucet when fully extended?

It rises about 6" before bending at a 90 degree angle to the spout. I think it's the best kitchen purchase I've made.

Is it possible to add an aerator to the end of the hose? If that's the case, which American Standard aerator should I get, i.e. What is the name of the model? I appreciate your assistance. ?

The hose thread adapter can be easily removed and replaced with an aerator on the faucet. The aerator must have a 55/64-degree temperature range. Female threads of one inch and a polished chrome finish to match the faucet M922880 is an American Standard that was developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials. 0020A, which can be found on Amazon, should suffice. br>I'm not aware of a female hose threaded aerator that could be installed directly on the existing faucet. The conversion process is simple and should not necessitate the use of any special equipment. However, an allen wrench may be required to remove the hose adapter from the faucet for the first time, and it is convenient to alternate between the aerator and the hose adapter on a regular basis if necessary. Only hand-tighten either adapter after making sure the threads are properly aligned. If the alignment isn't perfect, don't use a wrench because it could damage the finish or strip the threads.

Nice faucet at a good price; however, the listing (American Standard 2475) could be improved
5/5

540). This faucet is stunning right out of the box. It has a solid, heavy feel to it, as well as an ultra-slim profile. The finish is silky smooth. The handles and spout are both smooth to turn. It has a much better water flow than the cheap generic utility faucets installed by our contractor years ago, which were unsightly and difficult to use. br>br>This faucet is designed for sinks or countertops with supply lines spaced 4" apart and an on/off switch. center. There is no need for or use for a third hole in the middle. Despite the picture, it does not have an aerator. The American Standard 2475 is a standard that was established in the United States of America. Although the 550 (same picture) has an aerator, it costs $18 more on Amazon and does not appear to have a hose connector. If you want to add an aerator to this faucet, the Danco 10488 is only $3 on Amazon. (I'm pretty sure you're looking for the 3/4" version here. ) )br>br>Included in the package are the plastic nuts that hold the faucet to the sink or countertop, as well as the brass nuts that hold the supply lines in place. Between the faucet and the sink, there's also a plastic gasket. The actual supply lines are not included because there are far too many to fit in a single box. I didn't even have to remove the existing supply lines in our case because I simply reused them. br>br>I installed this faucet on the single-lever faucet on the second floor. Washing machine and tub I had previously installed a Lowe's "Project Source" faucet on the dual-head sink. The tub utility sink in the basement is the one that takes the brunt of the abuse. It costs about half as much as this one, but it comes with a removable aerator that connects to a 3/4" garden hose. The best of both worlds: it's a significant improvement over what was previously available, but it's not as attractive or durable as the American Standard faucet. I caulked above and below the plastic gasket for both faucet replacements. Years ago, I used Elmer's caulk from a squeeze bottle, and it hasn't dried up yet. Unfortunately, they don't appear to be manufactured any longer; I suppose that's why other caulks dry up regardless of what you do. Cleaning is a breeze. I also added Teflon pipe thread tape to the ends of the supply line connectors, despite the instructions not requiring it. br>br>I also added Teflon pipe thread tape to the ends of the supply line connectors, despite the instructions not requiring it. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but it doesn't appear to hurt.

Solid Faucet of Excellent Quality - It is simple to use
5/5

This faucet for my laundry tub made me very happy. It's fairly simple to set up and it works well. I was looking for a single handle laundry faucet but couldn't find one at a reasonable price, and I was frustrated with my existing faucet, which had two knobs that required multiple turns to open and close, as well as extra force to close or open fully. With a quarter turn of the handle, this faucet could be fully open or closed. By moving handles, you can easily change the temperature of the water. It produces a large amount of water and is very simple to use, even with greasy hands - You can also open and close with the back of your hand or elbow. This faucet is well-designed, user-friendly, and sturdy, and it comes at a reasonable price.

A fantastic price on a high-quality all-rounder
5/5

faucet made of metal. A fantastic price on a high-quality all-rounder. faucet made of metal. We looked for a long time and found that everything else in this price range was made of plastic. The products were still plastic even if they cost ten dollars more. It's worth noting that the image isn't completely accurate. There is no aerator, but there is a hose end connection at the spout's end. The handles are sturdy, reliable, and simple to turn on and off (even if you have to use your elbows due to clumsy hands).

Faucet is solid and has a handle
5/5

With wet or slick hands, it's simple to use; It is simple to put together. This faucet is exactly what I was looking for to replace the low-quality one that came with my laundry tub. I found what I was looking for in the handles of the faucet: to be able to easily turn them on and off with wet or slick hands br>The faucet is well-made and simple to install. The handles are a little lighter than I expected, but they work fine. br>A garden hose end is included with this model. I recently purchased a Keeny PP800- 17 aerator is a type of aerator that is used to increase It screwed on easily and is leak-proof even when hand-tightened.

It is simple to set up and use
5/5

The faucet set is very nice. I bought this to go with a laundry sink in a rental house I own, so it has to be durable. This looks like it'll last a long time, and the spout rise is just right for filling buckets. Installing it was a breeze. There isn't much else to say about it; it simply works. br>br>Please use the voting buttons to let me know if you found this review helpful. The first attempt failed - The replacement appears to be in good working order, as the first one I ordered for my mudroom sink was defective - The cold leaked and the hot refused to turn off
4/5

I exchanged it, and before I returned the old one, the company sent out a new one. The new one does exactly what it should. We'll see how it holds up over time, and you can get an attachment to turn it into an aerator hose, which I also ordered but have yet to try. If that works, the faucet will be much more user-friendly.

We had the laundry faucet installed by the home builder 14 years ago, and it was sturdy and well built
5/5

We were looking for a new faucet because it had two knobs and we had a hard time turning on and shutting off water when our hands were soapy or greasy. On Amazon, we discovered this American Standard faucet for $56. It's a little on the pricey side, but in comparison to other well-known faucets, it's still a bargain. Installing it is a breeze. It is lovely. It has quarter-turn handles or levers that allow us to easily turn on or off the water, even if our hands are soapy or greasy. It appears to be well-made and durable, and I expect it to last for many years. According to American Standard's website, their parts are covered by a lifetime warranty for residential installations. That's useful information.

A well-made product, a faucet that is very nice, solid, and well-made
4/5

I had to return due to a lack of reach. I despise how many people fail to visualize the actual product; for example, you show me a faucet with an 8" reach in a listing for one with only a 6" reach. What good is a photograph if you don't show me what I'm going to get? For wasting my time with your sloppy marketing, I'm deducting one star.
