Aqua Plumb 1828010 AB1953 REQST Two-Handle Rough Brass Laundry Tray Faucet with Adapter

This faucet was purchased to replace an older faucet (as seen in the photos). It served as an excellent substitute. All I had to do was take out the old faucet, clean the threads, and replace it with this one. In addition, I needed to buy a mounting block (see link below for photos) and a sheet of HDPE to go under the block (see link below for photos). From beneath the sink, through the water line holes, I secured the block to the sink using holes in the HDPE. The hex head bolt that came with the faucet was used in the back, and the two 1/2" brass screws that came with the block were used in the front to secure the faucet to the block. The faucet's overall quality is poor. The spout in the center has a very thin wall. It's also quite loose. This isn't the problem. br>br> The brass adapter is held in place by the union seat. The old one, though tarnished, is smooth, as you can see. The aquaplumb is very rough and appears to have been punched out, tarnished, and rusted. The connection will never be secure as a result of this. Find another seller; as you can see, h2brands does not provide warranty support.

This faucet is made of SOLID brass. In my laundry room, I replaced an old brass faucet on a concrete washtub. I couldn't find the correct stems to replace the ones on the old one because they had gone bad. As a result, I chose to simply replace the faucet. This faucet is encased in a solid surface. It's possible that some soldering will be required to connect it. However, it is extremely nice and of excellent quality. This makes me extremely happy. The only issue I have is that, unlike the old faucet, this one attaches to the sink with bolt ons rather than feet. To get that to mount, I had to make some changes.

I needed to replace my old laundry faucet, so I chose this one. It was a perfect fit and appears to be well-made and long-lasting. The only thing that irritates me is that down is on and up is off, but I've grown accustomed to it. The garden hose adapter does its job admirably. I use it to add more water to the washer and then replace the regular head when I'm finished.

This was used in the laundry room in the basement. It's impossible for me to imagine not having it. It runs smoothly and has a pleasant feel to it. It is very simple to use. I would strongly advise others to use this faucet.

The installation went smoothly, and the inlet pipe threads are the same as on my old unit. If the water faucet seals fail, the Delta style handles and cartridges will come in handy because they are readily available and relatively simple to replace. This unit comes with O-type top inlet unions. Rather than the more common compression metal-to-metal seal, ring seals are used. type of metal seal To get a good seal, you'll have to use both halves of the provided unions. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product; it solved my issue!.

I was replacing a Faucet that had most likely been in use for over 60 years. This might have been 100% a 100% match. I assumed I'd be able to simply unscrew the old one and replace it with the new. The unions, however, were not an exact match, so I had to put the new unions on the old pipe, and there were no leaks after that!.
