As I recall, the product is offered in 2 versions. I was given the first version. Version 6 of the code. Listed below is the description of the sink. The sink has a hole where I assume the soap dispenser or purified water spout used to be. This thing keeps water from going down that hole, so I didn't want water to drain in the sink. After measuring the hole, I thought this would work because it is over an inch wide. As it turns out, I didn't realize how wide the shank is that goes through the hole. My sink's hole just barely made it wide enough for the shank to pass That's a relief! when they write 1. I guess that's what they mean. The following are the two options. They mean it when they say 6 inches. Too small of a hole will prevent the needle from fitting through to the other end, so it will be of no use. There is one additional thing to note the washer is foam and not rubber as you may assume. In my opinion, it should be just fine but I just want to make sure I realize that.
This is a good deal for the money. Two of our faucet holes needed to be patched after we changed our faucet to one that is hot and cold. As you can see in the photos, this product is a great match for our sink. We were very happy with the product and it came well packaged, in 2 days. All you need to do is plug it into the bottom of the It fits perfectly. No water leaks through, no matter how much water is gathered around it for a long time It is watertight due to the gasket around it. There is a lot of value for the money. Similarly, the product at Home Depot seemed flimsy and fragile. We saved time and money by using this. It looks great and is sturdy.
There was one that fit perfectly because it was a very thin stainless sink top. One of those times I had to cut a hole through a wooden counter that was This is because the shaft is very short and does not pass through the counter hole enough for the collar to be screwed up. It seems to work fine after using silicone to seal it down. I'm sure it's meant to be used with stainless steel sinks, but I couldn't remember how it was supposed to work. My poor legs are too tired to get up and check.
It is near impossible to find this item at my local home improvement store. That saved me a lot of money on The item is easy to install and fits snuggly in its I was concerned that there might be some leakage, but it did not. A buyer should be aware that there are different sizes available for this item. OFFERS CAN BE LIMITED IF YOU DON'T MEASURE BEFORE ORDERING!.
Here is what we've done so It's great to be in this position. I've tried the "push-in" button cap from the big box hardware store, and I haven't been happy with it. There was no proper seal under the sink, allowing water to leak in. A lot of them became rusted pretty quickly, and they ended up being ugly and wasting This product is identical to the other, but is able to tighten down to the sink since it has a rubber gasket. The only way to tell if they will rust is to watch them over time. I will As a result of the installation process, I have high expectations. Thank you for your help.
Despite good packaging, there were no damages. It took me only a few minutes to install. We're using our common sense here, not instructions. While it did the job, the outer diameter (OD) of the flat rubber washer could be a bit larger. Despite barely touching the sink hole, the rubber washer never quite sat in place. Just cleaned the sink hole and/or added a little silicone sealant around the bottom of the plug and/or on top to put my mind at ease. (I know that it is a pain to clean and remove. ) I enjoy the way it looks and how it.
All in all, not much can be expected from a straightforward product like this. It gets a 5 for all the boxes "easy to install," "sturdiness," and "value for money. ". Stainless steel comes in a variety of finishes, including brushed stainless steel. You won't be able to tell, but in most cases, align the brush marks with the brush marks on the plug before tightening it.
I had exactly what I needed and they did a great job installing it. It's a lot easier if you have two people, one on top of the sink and one below, but I was able to do it on my own at 60 years old with a lot of health problems.
