I usually don't leave bad reviews, but I am very disappointed. There was little adhesion between the metal and the surface. It took me 18 brackets to comply with the specifications of the original 8 brackets, which I am almost certain were made for 1,000 pounds if memory serves. All the brackets are of high quality, and the adhesive product to which they are attached is top rated in this realm. There were too much bends in the brackets, which allowed the sink to separate from the counter. Since this was a kitchen sink with a garbage disposal, a garbage disposal is an obvious choice. I purchased this product for my own home, and I will never buy it again. I am a contractor by trade. I did not receive a response from the company when I contacted them directly.

In the last few weeks, I cracked my bathroom sink and bought an American Standard in its place. It was necessary to drill into the bottom of the granite with the American Standard clips (it was much more work than I expected, even with a mason bit) and submit a threaded insert with It was my theory that you could screw down a screw through the clip and down to the threaded insert, but the threaded insert was only a little bit bigger than the screw itself so when I tried to tighten the screws, the insert would spin and the epoxy would crack. I tried 3 different types of epoxy, cleaning each one with acetone and a brush. After 3- 4 days, I had no more problems with cracking. With 5 attempts, I began thinking with how a plate that could be glued to the underside of the countertop would provide more surface area to grip than the tiny threaded insert and would make it less likely that the screw would spin as the screw was tightened. found these parts on Amazon after looking on eBay for the parts I needed to make what I thought I would build I think this is pretty much how I saw it. A better solution is to make holes in the plate in order to allow epoxy to pass through and great stubs that keep the plate from spinning even more. Since I had been unable to use the clips that came with the sink for 2 weeks, I had nothing to lose by buying a brand new set at less than $15. Where these clips are totally useful, they make mounting installation extremely simple. The epoxy was mixed in two parts, a generous amount was applied to each of the 10 stud bases, and then 48 hours were allowed to pass for good curing. We siliconed the rim of the sink and clamped it to the wall. We are all set! I placed the clips and washers over the studs, tightened the wing nuts by hand, and everything turned out fine. The granite countertop was making it difficult to keep the sink attached under the mount. After a few years, the sink detached from the granite because the original installers did a terrible job of installing it. The performance of the second installer was neither better nor worse as his installation Reviewing a few videos, I realized that I was going to need more than epoxy on the sink edge. These clips were purchased from the retailer, alongside some premium epoxy, which I used to attach them under the countertop in five different locations. A liberal amount of epoxy on the sink rim along with that took care of the problem. Unlike ordinary clips, these heavy-duty clips can withstand the pressure of holding the sink in place and are easy to epoxy in place. The product I purchased was excellent.
