If I had the option, I would have given this more than five stars! I recently purchased an attractive and functional commode for the disabled husband. He had used an ugly plastic commode for a long time, but it was not functional, as there was a 6" gap between the seat and the bowl. With that, it is easy to see the problems. I hate it. In pursuit of a solution, we searched for something attractive, dignified, sturdy, and, most importantly, SANITARY. It was so frustrating to see the risers so ugly and can't be cleaned without loosening the hardware, etc. Then I read the great reviews and decided to purchase. Our in-laws used this toilet seat and it was just what they needed Various laws exist. have high rise toilets in our house in Arizona, so we actually thought that would be adequate when my in laws came to visit. However, they needed more height, as well as something to push off from to stand up each time. I think this toilet seat will do just fine. There is no doubt that it is extremely I could not be happier with the way it fit my toilet. I found the installation to be very easy. Replace your old toilet seat with this one. Just remove old toilet seat and replace with this one. Bolts are made by Bemis, and a special tool is needed to tighten them once tight, the end of the bolt snaps off, and you never have to worry about it coming loose. The seat comes with a lifetime warranty. What a great piece of work. What I dislike about cleaning my toilet is the actual process of cleaning it. Despite the new seat having a riser, there is a gap between the riser and the rim of the tank. In between that space there appears to be a lot of dust, so I have to regularly dust in between. I'm not sure if the issue is a matter of the individuals who use this toilet who are in their early 90's or if it's something that Since the space is too cramped for me, I find it difficult to access, but others may not have an issue with it. The overall quality and sturdy nature of the product are excellent. Spend the money for the peace of mind of knowing that your loved one will be safe when getting on and off the toilet rather than wasting your money on a cheaper solution.

In cheap toilet risers, the risers are bolted to the porcelain bowl, so it is impossible to clean the area between the porcelain bowl and the riser. There is no doubt that this chair is very sturdy and tall. You can trust it to handle even the largest clientele. The installation process is straightforward. In my experience, the seat may not catch and direct all urine when seated for some guys, and it is still possible for leaks between the seat and bowl to occur. Those were the main reasons to buy it, so it was a bit disappointing. Perhaps I'm the only one who feels this way.

In spite of major hip surgery, this device provided me with the needed stability. One of the temporary seats I had was fitted with a pressure screw. When I tried to grab the handle, it became loose, and I fell off. This came to me a few days after my surgery, the seat was unstable, and the seat was repaired.
