The package arrived today as promised although it was in a feeble weight cardboard box (I'm being generous calling it cardboard) with no internal packing material at all - it arrived in a very poor state. As it seems like the product was just shoved into a flimsy plastic bag, I don't understand why it was scratched / marred quite a bit and how it got in a bag like that There is damage to the property During shipping, the left rear connector snapped and/or broke off, which had to have happened PRIOR to shipping, as the broken parts were not in the bag or box when they broke. *Butterflies too small for the package, also missing bolts, so I asked for a replacement, as it is Amazon Prime, and assuming the vendor is reliable, with the hope that the vendor will take note and take measures to ensure they pack items properly.

I like it a lot. I love it. This is not one of those plastic seats that buckles and pops when you sit on it. This was what we had growing up. How did we ever lose sight of it. The best part is that I was able to replace a plastic Bemis seat (which stopped its slow drop for some reason) with this and it had the same snap-on fixture so I didn't have to go under and fix.

There is a cool thing about this seat in that it clips and slides right on to the old mounts. I enjoy how easy this seat is to replace, and how easy it is to clean. I am sorry to inform you of these two The mounting systems from Bemis can be used with at least three different products. A bit of luck is required to hit on the correct answer. The second problem I encountered is that I focused so much on getting a correct mount that I opted for a wood seat instead of The lid of the wood box can be molded to fit quite as nicely as the lid of the plastic box, but the wood is heavier. It's more a matter of personal preference than it's a fault of the seat itself. Slow close and other features on the Bemis seats are not very long lasting, which is a very important feature to us. In my experience, all my seat replacements (3 or 4) have been due to slow close problems.

It is nice and comfortable to sit on the While it does slowly close, having to push it down a long way makes it more likely to do so. Before, I used a plastic bag that would close with a simple tap. While it is better quality, it takes more than just a minor tap for it to Eventually, I will get one for the other bathroom as well.

I was really happy with the quality of this toilet seat and would like to keep I received the item in a severely damaged state due to a poor package. The item can be returned without problem, however, I didn't reorder it I chose this method of packaging because I was afraid that it would be applied to my order.

If need be, this seat can be easily installed and removed. Despite its strength and comfort, it is extremely durable. Installation of this product has been ongoing for more than six months without any loosening. Fast closing works well thanks to the slow closing feature. If we have to replace it in our other bathroom, I will definitely buy it again.
