I have one small reservation about how easy it is to clean this toilet seat. Easy to wipe down, the seat can be cleaned in a matter of seconds. I clean it every couple of weeks I pluck it off and wipe everything around the attachment hardware. The kids are in charge of cleaning it and have no problem with it, but I do a deep cleaning on it every couple of weeks. The blanket comes on and off quickly every time. If it gets a little dirty and needs to be deep cleaned, it can be pulled off and placed in the shower or out in the lawn for a good hose down. Despite my reservations about the comfort of this seat, I found the rubber pads on its bottom to be very durable and easy to keep clean. I'm keen to see how they look in 3 years as my seats look like new while they keep the seats in place, clean up nicely, and the seat stays in place no matter what I do. From the perspective of the big picture, this is a rather small concern that, to me, is overshadowed by the many other great features the app offers. I would like to review #1. Its features include a closed seat that slows down as it closes and a cover that slowly opens. It is not a tight fit on one side due to the fact that it is not centered on the toilet however, we have a very nice Kohler In the meantime, I'm going to test it on one of our other toilets to see if it behaves the same way. I'll probably return it if I get the chance. The reason why I am keeping it is that I no longer have the box and I feel strange about returning it. I'll provide a review #2. A few days after I wrote the first review of this family seat, the seller sent me an email with some suggestions for how to make this seat attach securely It appears that the company has sent me another mounting kit that seems to be working well. I suggest that you inquire as to whether this would work for your Kohler elongated toilet. The seller did a great job getting the parts I needed - a high rating for his proactive work.
