It was a tough installation, but the end result was good

When I got this toilet for my kids, I chose it over others because it has a full lid with a slow close button, one piece design, and a push button flush. I still prefer this toilet over the others, even if this review is critical. I had a lot of problems with the installation. There is only one star docked, because it works well for the purpose for which it was purchased. Unless you plan on installing it yourself, you are likely to give it a 5 star rating. The following issues were encountered during installation I. - My inlet was blocked enough to prevent me from connecting the water supply to the toilet while it is mounted, so I had to unmount it, fill it with water, then mount it A link from the flapper to the flush button was too short, which meant that the flapper stayed open when it was connected*- The chain is connected to the lid of the tank, so you have to open the lid slightly and disconnect to gain access. Child proofing the lid of the tank has since been completed in order to prevent accidents-- A rough handle is attached to the toilet seat. Since I was installing a bidet on the seat, I knew I was in for a rough ride. The seat is not designed to accommodate a bidet in any way. I ended up getting nuts, washers, and rubber washers to secure the seat. The following problems have been encountered during installation I. - I found the thing disgusting when it arrived. There was a lot of Styrofoam in every crevice, some safety check stamps that I had to remove, as well as grime in general that I have not been able to clean. I. - Apparently the toilet seat is not as secure as it should be. I feel like it's very cheap and wobbles a lot. However, it seems safe that at least they are comfortable with it. Other than that, my boys are very comfortable with it, and I'm very happy. It meets most of my requirements, and I am overall very pleased with it.
