We were looking for something with good value, good quality, and a light weight, and this fit the bill perfectly. Installed in less than 5 minutes and looks and works a million times better than the cheap plastic unit we couldn't even reach under. The original pipe fittings in the R Pod screwed right on and were a perfect fit.
I looked in all of the big box stores and couldn't find anything under $100 that I liked. 00 (don't get me wrong, I'd pay more for better quality, but I was working on a budget). I read all of the reviews on Amazon for this faucet and I think it's a great deal for the price. It looks expensive and the quality is excellent. My plumber did have to add an extra piece (I'm not sure what it was called) to make the water a little stronger, but it was a quick fix. I'm going to order another one for a different bathroom.
We purchased two of these and are extremely pleased with them. We went to Lowe's first, and this is the same quality and look as one they had for more than twice the price; we're so glad we found it here. The stopper in the bottom of the sink has a small metal mesh basket that prevents the sink from becoming clogged - We had no idea what we were buying, but when my husband opened the box and saw it, he was completely sold.
It has the exact matte black finish I was looking for without costing an arm and a leg like similar Moen faucets I was considering. The installation was simple and took about 30 minutes to an hour; just make sure you have some plumber's putty and plumber wrenches on hand to loosen and tighten the existing fixtures. br>br>On a side note, my double vanity sink does not have an overflow drain near the top, so it was leaking a lot of water. To prevent water from pooling and leaking out, I covered the drain holes with black gaffer tape and more plumber's putty.
I was so dissatisfied with the faucet in my half bath because it was so difficult to get my hands under it that I finally ordered this. We decided to look at it in the other bathrooms because we had already decided to just replace the sink and were still looking for one. It appeared to be a significant improvement. So I made the decision to replace them all. They make such a difference in the look of the bathrooms and are much easier to get your hands under, and they are very inexpensive at $40. Even the pop-up design appeals to me because it gets the stuff out from under the cabinets and also because the turn-off valves were installed in such a way that proper clearance for all of the mechanisms was impossible to achieve. The trap also appears to be an excellent idea.
He didn't care about the time it took to complete the project because he had too much time on his hands. Here's what we learned: Advantages: br>br> br>• Unbelievable value: the faucet and stopper cost less than $40! br>• Clean cut designbr>• Removable stopper with a trap to catch hair or anything else that may have made its way into the drainbr>• The spout pivots side to side if you need to redirect the water flowbr>• My son, who has no experience, completed the installation in less than an hour simply by following the instructionsbr>br>Con: br>• My son rushed through this project and is now playing video games. br>br>The bottom line is that this faucet is well worth the money. It's one of my favorites!.
If the aesthetics appeal to you, the hardware appears to be well-made, and installation was straightforward. The only drawback is that the base is a very thin stamping, and when the unit is cinched to the basin, the base gasket tends to pop out from under the base. Despite the fact that the gasket and base appear to be symmetric, I discovered that reversing the gasket - not flipping top-side-to-side-to-side-to-side-to-side- bottom - The has been fixed. strange behavior (this is a bit of a stretch).
This is the second time I've bought a Phisteine supplement. I returned because of the excellent customer service I received on my first purchase. For my shaving setup, I needed a low-cost replacement faucet. This one ended up being a lot more than I expected. The finish is excellent, and the water flow is full-bodied with smooth levers. If my master bath's decor wasn't so mismatched, I could have put this in there. Check out the video to see how much you get for your money.
