I ordered this kit because I was installing my first steam shower and didn't want to waste time looking for parts. Having said that, I was extremely dissatisfied with what I received for $200. Even if all of these parts were usable (spoiler alert: they weren't), the total cost would be around $75-$100. If you buy the parts locally, they'll cost you $100. Only a few of the copper sweat fittings (possibly $10-$20) were salvageable from this kit. If I'm being generous, 20 parts in total). The rest of the information got out. While hand-tightening the pressure gauge to the pressure regulator, it came loose. Despite using a lot of thread sealant and pulling it apart and redoing it several times, the regulator leaked from both sides. The hose and valve, too, had to be replaced because they were leaking. Overall, this was a completely useless set of parts that probably cost me an extra three dollars. Leak detection took 4 hours. So not only did I overpay for the parts, but I also lost money due to the additional labor time and had to purchase replacement parts locally. Oh, and this installers kit still doesn't include the filter that the manual recommends (which is my fault for not reading the ad more carefully, but why wouldn't it include everything that the manufacturer recommends for installation? )br>br>0/10 does not recommend.
If you have hard water, this is a must-have.
The pressure valve, as mentioned by another reviewer, is a bad product, and the parts that are most needed, such as the pressure valve, are not worth the money. The best we can say is that the threads are not tapered, so it can't be tightened to keep it from leaking. I had to purchase a pressure valve on my own. I'm not going to buy anything else.
The package was damaged when it arrived. On one of the risers, all of the tac welds inside the pan were faulty, and the block floated free.
The advertised dimensions are 26"x11", but the actual measurements are 23"x10". 5", which was crucial in our application.
