Yes, if it's on the same level as you.
No idea. For the steam spa, an extension can be ordered.
Hello, and thank you for your interest! This is a gravity-fed system. The drain just opens and closes, and that's all there is to it.

This purchase has made me very happy. After looking at a few others, I decided on this one because it appeared to be well-made, the company had a good website with support, and the unit came with two controls, one of which was an auto-locking mechanism. The aromatherapy head, as well as a dump valve The aromatherapy option and dual controls were not available on most other units in this price range. It also included a slew of installation add-ons. br>br>This device is in excellent condition. It produces steam in about one minute and heats up to temperature in about 20 minutes (from 70 to 100 degrees). Outside of the shower, the unit is very quiet (the steam from the steam head is a little louder, but it's not bad). The dual controls are a huge plus because you can turn it on outside the shower and adjust or turn it off once inside. The controls are sleek and clean, but they really need to be flush mounted to look their best. The controls come in a surface mount or flush mount option, but the surface mount sticks out a lot and isn't very attractive (in my opinion). The only thing I would change is the color of the LED display, which is currently red. It would be nice to have other options (such as blue or white). br>br>I paid for the installation, and due to the way it had to be mounted, only a few of the fittings provided were useful in our case. I liked that it included a water filter, an auto cleanout valve, and a pressure relief valve, and that I didn't have to pay extra for them (many other units didn't). I added a second shutoff valve before the filter so that I can turn off the water to the entire system if I need to change filters or if there is a problem. In case the system leaks internally in the future, the drain pan was also installed and plumbed into the floor drain. The unit does not appear to get very hot (except for the extremely hot copper piping that the steam passes through). I built an enclosure to hide the unit in a closet, and it's only a few inches away from the unit, so there's no noticeable heat buildup in the box when it's on. br>br>Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. It will take time to see how reliable it is, but so far it has proven to be reliable and simple to use.
The most difficult part was putting together the plumbing kit they provided. I would advise against purchasing it and instead hiring a plumber to complete the task. Other than that, the rest was simple, and I've been steaming every day since!.
The light cannot be turned off. Right now, I am enraged! I chose the steam shower with the color-changing mood light because I figured you could change the color of the light to whatever you wanted. As a result, you can adjust the lighting to reflect any mood you desire. I was sorely mistaken. After installing everything and having my entire bathroom remodeled, I discovered that the light and control panel I have simply allows the light to cycle from one color to the next. Irritation is the only mood that I can support! How does it make sense that a light would just keep cycling through different colors while you were in the shower or steam room? I discovered that if I only want one light to be white, I'll have to buy another light! I'm furious and disappointed, and I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who expects the advertisement to accurately reflect the product's capabilities!.
It turned out that the health was even worse than we had suspected. I finally returned the unit to the manufacturer [on time and in good condition]. I returned it after the "return date" had passed, and they [Amazon and the Manufacturer] were extremely helpful, and I received a full refund. Oh, my goodness! How's that for EXCELLENT customer service? I'll be remodeling a bathroom in my basement sometime next year, and you can guess where I'll be buying this unit [for me!].
This is a high-quality product that does exactly what it says it will. Anyone would benefit from the steamspa executive series, in my opinion. I also found their customer service to be friendly and helpful.
It took a few months for my shower to be remodeled and this unit installed, but it was well worth the wait. Overall, the steam unit is very quiet; it's installed in the attic above my master bath, and you can hear it filling up with water when it turns on. Of course, the steam makes a small amount of noise, but it isn't excessive. The steam is of excellent quality and quickly warms up. I like the two controllers; having control from within the shower is convenient.
Because the seller did not respond and appeared to be unconcerned, I obtained replacement parts from the manufacturer.
Almost all of the necessary connections, including a water filter, were included with the unit for installation.
