This control panel performs admirably, and I would give it five stars if it weren't for the fact that it's the third one we've had to purchase in the last four years. The first had completely stopped working, while the second would randomly turn on. The first was a brand-new installation that failed under warranty and had to be replaced by a Steamist service technician who confirmed that it had been installed correctly. It was out of warranty this time, so I had to replace it myself. Simple, but at $3-$4 per person, it's a good deal. I would have installed a competitor's steam shower for $400 each time if I had known. When it works, however, it's fantastic.
My new Steamist sauna's original control unit would randomly stop working and display an error code indicating a malfunctioning control unit. It was brand new, but the warranty had expired (due to the fact that the tile work took me over a year to complete). with a new house, there are too many projects). br>br>It finally irritated me to the point where I bought this replacement control unit. So far, everything has gone smoothly.
