Yes, it works with 220 volts, and I believe it is required.
Enter the dimensions of your shower on the Mr Steam website. The appropriate size will be suggested.
Both yes and no. You're talking about a retrofit, which involves using an existing shower to create a steam shower. Copper piping is used for the steam supply line. Your plumber will need to examine the layout of your shower to see if supply pipe can be installed without destroying the existing tile work. Ideally, your shower will back up to a wall in a different room or closet. Because drywall is easier to repair than tile, you may need to cut away and replace drywall in order to install the copper pipe supply line. Making the supply pipe entry into the shower may only require a single hole through the tile, with a diffuser installed over it to make the steam orifice safe (so it doesn't burn a shower user). Keep in mind that a full glass enclosure is required for a steam shower to keep the steam contained. You'll also need an exhaust fan in the bathroom to remove any ambient steam that enters the room (for example, when the shower door is opened and closed).
The majority of manufacturers limit the temperature to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You should never exceed the set temperature in a steam shower.

I was hesitant to spend the money on a proper steam shower, but wow, am I glad we did. I'm glad this generator is a little bigger than we need for our shower. You can get a steamy shower in less than 5 minutes, even if the pipes are cold. If you enjoy steam showers, a Mr. Steam will be a welcome addition to your home. It did require an additional circuit for the electrical requirement in our home, which increased the cost, but it was well worth it! Oh, and I called Mr. Steam customer service a couple of times and they were very responsive and helpful.
Steam distributor approved, with an owner who is very responsive and helpful! It's critical to purchase Mr Steam products from an authorized retailer in order to be eligible for warranty coverage. The owner of this company, which is listed on Mr Steam's website, was extremely helpful and responsive to my questions.
I've been using this on a daily basis for about two months and it's great; this is the fourth Mr Steam unit I've had in various homes we've owned over the last 30 years with no problems. The control cable was damaged when it arrived, but it was replaced as soon as possible. Make sure the cable can be easily re-routed when you're installing it. I didn't realize it was damaged until it was installed, which was fortunate because our bathroom design made it easy to fish the new one in.
exactly as anticipated.
My steambath is something I use on a regular basis. It relaxes my muscles while also clearing my sinuses. For added benefits, I combine it with essential oils. It produces steam consistently and quickly.
Steam. The device performed admirably. We use it on a daily basis. The unit was installed by a professional plumber and electrician, and it took about 5 hours to complete.
The product was damaged when it arrived. The broken valve was removed by my plumber. Mr. Steam finally agreed to replace the valve after a two-week battle. I asked for it to be delivered on my Fedex account the next day. They told me it had already been shipped, but two days later they emailed me to say the part was no longer available. They inform me that they have taken a valve from another steamer and will be shipping it the same day. After two days, I get the replacement valve. The next day, I receive a bill for the overnight shipping, which is billed to me. br>Now that's what I'm talking about!.
I always purchase this unit for my projects and have never received a call from a customer requesting that I come out and take care of it. After five years, maybe?.
