The EliteSteam is a team of seven people. The 5 kW steam generator has a load rating of 31 amps and requires a 40 amp breaker. This will not work with 12 gauge wire. Please consult your local electrical codes or an electrician to determine the proper wire size for this electrical load and the distance between your power source and the installation.

I did a lot of research and called several Customer Service (CS) departments before deciding that this one is the best: first, their CS is prompt, honest, non-pushy, and helpful. Second, unlike MrSteam, you don't have to install a drain, which makes your job half as easy. br>I put mine next to the shower in the bathroom vanity. A 220Amp line was installed to the vanity by an electrician. In my garage, I soldered one 3/4-inch pike to a threaded coupler (which screws into the steam generator). I aligned the pipe, drilled a pilot hole through the drywall into the shower (carbide), and finished the job. A 1 inch hole (carbide) was drilled through the ceramic/sheet rock from the shower. 3/4 inch pipe was inserted through the hole, and a tefloned threaded couple was attached to the steam unit. I bought a Y coupler and a flexible stainless sink hose for water (turn off the house water!). ), reattached them, and checked for leaks before turning on the water in the house. In the shower, I screwed on a chrome outlet vent. For the electric, I removed the two cover plates (4 screws), located the three wires, two hot and one ground, and attached my 220 wires with wire nuts; for the thermostat, PHONE JACK! Simply plug the phone jack into one of two locations and run the wire to the desired location (shower or not). Turn on the faucet. The 220Amp breaker should be switched off. You can start steaming right away by pressing the ON button. I received a score of seven. For a shower stall measuring 4 feet by 3 feet by 7 feet, a 2 KW unit will suffice. I built too much, but it was on purpose. It's too hot for me! It really works.
We purchased this Elite unit to replace an 11-year-old Steamist unit. It performs admirably, and we are pleased with it. Inside the shower, I used the new controller that was included. The only problem was that the old controller was a little bigger. I siliconed a stainless steel plate with a large hole for 240 electrical plugs over the hole, then siliconed the new controller on top of that. Because the controller is brushed nickel, it looks fantastic. br>THE BEST THING ABOUT Steamist is that the control cables haven't changed since the first one was installed 23 years ago. As a result, there is no need to replace the wall wiring. Unless you want to pull new wires, I would recommend Steamist or Elite Steamist, which is a little less expensive, over Mr Steam and others who have changed their wires over time.
It's fantastic after that. It took a lot of effort to complete the installation. It must be installed inside, not in an attic, according to the rules. We were unable to install it indoors due to a lack of available space. On the other side of the shower (which has an exterior wall), we constructed a weather-resistant box. We'll see how this affects the box's longevity, but it's on a north-facing wall, so it doesn't get much sun. br>br>In terms of operation, we are extremely satisfied after a month. It takes about two minutes to get the steam going, but once it does, it's incredible. The temperature in the shower/steam area is kept at a comfortable level thanks to the control. The fragrance of steam is wonderful. There are no chemical odors at all. I can't believe we've had to wait so long for this. I'm hoping it will stick around for a while!.
My steam shower, on the other hand, was a "frill" on our 20-year-old house's 'long overdue' Master Bath addition, which we adore. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat, and I'm very happy with this steam generator that has everything you need and nothing you don't. For several reasons, I decided to buy it. First and foremost, this is a great value when compared to competitors who have a variety of add-ons and required purchases that would have cost roughly twice as much and blown the budget. Second, I read that their wiring and hookups have remained unchanged for years. (If you run a chase for the controller wiring, you can relatively easily swap out items to fix things if something goes wrong with your controller/or unit. ) Third, there is excellent customer service, which promptly responded to multiple emails and possibly even a phone call from me during the project's "planning" phase, when I was confirming the correct unit to purchase in order to power the steam for my steam-heating system. space for a shower I was adamant about not making a trade. I opted for a lower-cost option, so I didn't get a full steam experience. I gained confidence and placed the order as a result of the customer service relationship. This is a rare review, but I feel it's important to point out that this purchase is a great way to add luxury to your bathroom remodel without having to pay top-end showroom prices for all the bells and whistles. You don't require all the bells and whistles.
After 15 years, the current unit no longer produces steam. Because the connections aren't perfectly identical and the space was tight, it was a bear to install, but well worth it. I've used it a few times and regret not getting it sooner.
It still works flawlessly. The unit is well-built, and the steam is comparable to that of a commercial steamer in a SPA. This steamer will be required in any future home that we purchase - With this unit, we've become quite spoiled!.
Love it. There are no issues or concerns, and it works every time. It was decided to hire a plumber and an electrician. This book comes highly recommended. When you run into problems or have questions, you can count on excellent quality and excellent support.
My plumber and electrician found the instructions to be fairly self-explanatory. Even so, it wouldn't have been difficult for me to set up. It only takes a few minutes to reach 110 degrees. The only drawback I can think of is that the steam head's oil reservoir isn't very effective. Although it could be bigger, I can't say I'm disappointed. The unit costs half of what some of these high-end plumbing stores would charge for the same service.
