Questions & Answers

A flow restrictor can be easily removed, but how can it be done?

In short, yes. There is even an illustration in the directions showing where it is located so you can clear it easily. Do not be concerned about people removing the back flow valve as it has nothing to do with restricting the flow of water.

What is the width of the rainshower crook pipe and how much clearance is necessary to install it from the tip of the shower to the wall?

Despite the fact that the bar sticks out 2 inches from the wall from the wall to the tip of the shower head, the total length stands at 24 inches

Are both shower heads capable of being used at once?

The answer is yes. Our shower has been in place for almost a year. We can share the pressure between both or choose which one we want to use. You simply turn the oval knob to share pressure or turn all the way to select whichever one you want to use. It is an analogue process, so you can choose exactly how much you want to get out of either of the two. It is important to keep in mind that use of both wide-open will decrease the flow, so keep that in mind.

The Kauai LLL can provide water to both heads at the same time. However, can it still be switched to either single head or both heads at the same time?

There is a knob at the base of each shower head that controls the water flow. There is a choice between having water flow through both shower heads at once or only one at a time. It's an awesome The price was well worth it!

When it comes to beauty, you get what you pay for, and this one is just fabulous
5/5

The highest level The words "quality, beautiful, and well-made" describe these qualities. It is designed with ease of installation in mind. It quickly became evident after recently moving into our new home that we have plenty of room to improve. While doing the dishes, I had the opportunity to take advantage of this opportunity. The heads of many men tend to be just the right height for getting me wet from the nipples down as I am 6'1". If you install the shower head against the far wall and extend it out just 6" from the wall, I do not understand why this is necessary. In order to ensure proper drainage, you usually have to bend and contort a lot. In any case, the new house was just as good as the old house. Around a week after moving in, I went shopping for a new shower head, and like everything else, I quickly discovered that there are a lot of choices. When I saw that prices started at $20 and quickly headed into the thousands, I knew I had my work cut out for me. The shower stall in our master bath is one of those drop-in types There is a common fiberglass panel system that tract home builders employ. Neither of us wanted to start drilling and cutting our way around it, and neither did we want to repeat the installation all over again It was therefore not necessary for these shower systems to require such elaborate plumbing (once I almost burned our house down tripping over pipes during the installation of our shower) . This eliminated the need for many of these shower systems. To give you an idea of my requirements, here are mine * * - The highest level Good quality - This is a rain shower head - Extending the length of the shower arm*- Flow rate is adjustable with this handheld unit- Installation requires very little plumbing

The PULSE Showerspas line is well reviewed, installs in less than an hour (according to the box) and is built to last. It's funny how you can tell that a product is meant to last the moment you touch it, isn't The product you're looking at is just one of them. It is designed very well - the fittings, the valves, even the shower heads themselves are all well made. A full disclosure is required When I took it out the shoebox it was in I immediately repacked it and returned it. It was actually my second showerhead/handheld combo unit. made a poor first impression and was destined to fail. As for the purchase itself, I cannot tell you how happy I am. It took me about 90 minutes to install the software. My installation wasn't typical, though, as I had to fiddle with the length of the shower neck coming out of the wall to make sure it was the right length. Image taken from the top). I am still seeing a bit of brass, but it isn't too much of a problem. It's just a simple assembly with hose fittings and rubber O-rings for everything to connect to A ring. The package includes even little plastic baggies with a little bit of oil for the insides of the o-rings A ring. The set screws can also be unlocked using an Allen wrench. All their thoughts were truly put into consideration. It is, however, necessary that you supply your own pipe wrenches and pliers. The install of our new home improvement was roughly as painless as you can imagine. Almost everything was fine except for one minor detail. In order to attach the bottom of the vertical pipe to the shower wall, a peel-off adhesive pad is used Getting rid of the off part is a bit of a pain. Be sure you've got the studs plumb before you press it to the shower wall, as that sucker is extremely I mean it. Having put it on, you can't take it I read online where some people have removed the check valves and other little pieces in their water systems to improve the flow rate, but I didn't have to do In our house we have pretty good pressure as it is, so we get great flow when running the handheld unit in conjunction with the overhead rainshower head at the same time. This was a lucky break.

The handheld unit features a ratcheted adjustment that can be used to set the look. It stays in place when you adjust it. The combination unit in this review has another important feature that not every unit like it You need to pay attention to the fact that the piping between the handheld unit and the overhead big shower head contains quite a bit It is important to note that as you're using one shower head or the other while showering, the one not in use I especially like the overhead piece for this reason. that pool water gets cold, but it will cool down quite a bit, and when you change from one valve to another, you will notice it. Also, make sure you run hot water through both units before you get into You may want to keep that in mind unless you like getting a few cups of ice cold water dumped on you. Having experienced this firsthand, I can speak with authority. Although it is a good way to increase heart rate, it is not for everyone. Therefore, that is all there is to say. I know that you're not used to spending $150 on a shower head, but trust me when I say that you will not The expense of a shower head ranks up there with toilet paper and beer on our list of things in life worth spending money.

Here are two things you need to know after having a great shower
5/5

A few calls with customer service (good) and a replacement part (not needed) brought this product to life and now it works perfectly. Despite the diverter being positioned to only send water to the hand held shower, water would still stream out of the overhead found out that this is the biggest complaint people have about the Here are a few tips The vertical pipe did not go far enough into the top tee, which was my fault. In order to join the two pieces you have to twist and push them together tightly. The directions do not emphasize this at all. The following tips will help you. Because of low water pressure, I removed both flow restrictors, making things confusing to a beginner. See the photos here (#2 inlet fitting and #18 swivel joint) showing the two parts with the restrictors removed.

I bought one a few years ago and I found it to be pretty good I enjoyed it a lot
3/5

It has been a disaster since we bought another. It was the same product that I purchased several years ago, and I enjoyed it then. Our previous home was too small, so we wanted to find This one requires fewer steps than the previous one, which required me to assemble the entire shower while being careful with washers and O-rings One of these rings arrived 90% assembled, indicating that it was a later model. To install it, you only had to follow two steps. The moment I saw it I was ecstatic. As soon as the unit was installed and turned on, water poured out of all the pre-filters A part that has been assembled. After I took it down, I had a nightmare as the grub screws, which I was very careful not to over tighten, would not undo as they immediately stripped as the screws are made of such flimsy The damn thing had to be taken off of the wall and put on the floor, and the same thing happened with other food as well. Embrace the screw. While building this unit, I discovered that several washers were missing, and that it arrived partially assembled, unlike the first one I built, there was no small bag of rubber washers to be added. The factory must have forgotten them. It was shipped during the week, and I thought I'd be installing it within a week. Be it a tiling issue or something else, I am now two days beyond Amazon Prime's return policy. The problem does not lie with Amazon, it lies with me.

The bottom If you are thinking about buying this shower, I advice against it. It used to be a great product, however, they have since cheapened the quality and made it less attractive There is clearly room for improvement with regards to assembly.

There are only two things you need to do before setting up the installation
4/5

Although I like this shower head a lot, I wouldn't have given it a perfect 5 star rating because of two factors. It is a good idea to take away the flow control discs on your faucet first unless you live in a water-saving community. My initial installation of the unit created a good flow but not perfect. When I removed the discs, it took much longer to flow and was much better. as soon as the initial installation was complete, I noticed a small leak at the joint where the down rod meets The next day, I took it out and tightened all the fittings. Apparently it wasn't enough that I needed to have it repaired. The moral of the story is that you should take all parts apart before you install them. Lubricate the oil seals in the o-rings. Put the rings on, and tighten them carefully. Installation takes only a few minutes and will save you a lot of time. I plan on upgrading the other bathrooms in our home with this fixture since it's really well built and should last for a long time. I really enjoy the shower experience and will be purchasing this fixture for the rest of our house. The book is recommended to anyone who needs a good read.

Making crazy noises and I can't shut off the main showerhead when using the In a nutshell, My husband and I purchased two of them last summer, and due to long delays in renovations, our shower has only just started to be used
3/5

When switching from the main showerhead to the handheld, it turns out that I cannot shut it properly off. You can either feel the water is at half force or it is dripping ferociously and making We swapped out for the second one, but it still had the It's been revealed to us that the diverted has either been poorly designed or poorly manufactured by a professional plumber who installed them both. Whether we like it or not, we are stuck with what is the worst showerhead of all time. I have attached a video for your viewing pleasure. A brief update I spoke to an awesome technician at the company who said that he would send out new parts to fix the problem. Consequently, I may or may not make any changes to It will be interesting to.
