It is true. This cable was purchased and used as an extension from the pipe coming out of the wall to the shower head (to get extra height).
Is 135 degrees
If that is the case, you will need to add a chrome union on the male end of the 135 degree elbow that has female threads on both ends.

shower, and the shower head points to the short side. When I placed the new shower head in the shower, it hit the wall instead of the person in it. In order for the new shower head to function, I had to turn it at an extreme angle, which left it looking pretty silly. After seeing this fitting on Amazon, I decided to give it a try, and as you can see from the photo, My husband and I have another shower with the same problem. I intend to order another.
Heavy, all metal chromed piece with a male threaded end that can be swiveled to point straight down after the female end is tightened. There was only one issue I had the male threads were not long enough for my hand held shower head to be able to thread on far enough in order to create a good seal against the During my shopping trip at Lowe's, I bought a pack of rubber washers. An additional pair of washers was required to make sure that the seal was satisfactory. As well as Teflon tape, I used some good quality thread protectors. I was disappointed by how thin the tape was that came with the fitting.
Regardless of what kind of washer I use, or how much tape I use, this thing leaks water at the female (inlet) end of the pipe. I attempted it first with the washers that came with it, and Teflon tape, but it failed. There seemed to be no way to hold the washer, so it just went whole inside the supply pipe. I then tried Teflon tape and a more rigid washer. Again, the results are the same. The document As the washer slid up the supply pipe, it again came into contact with the pipes. To make sure the washer wasn't damaged, I removed it Supposed to have just used Teflon tape, but now it starts leaking at the swivel joint and at the supply end. It is now destroyed when I take it apart again since the washer that is for the swivel joint was destroyed a few minutes ago. The good news is that I bought two. The second one was installed as instructed using washers and Teflon tape provided by the manufacturer. Even though there is still a leak in the shower, it is just a drip when the water is turned on only for the shower. It's impossible for me to do anything else. As long as the shower head was too low, it did not leak at all with the previous fittings.
It works well with this adapter. When I'm ready to shower off, I swivel the shower head back down. It allows me to swivel the shower head to the side while I layer up. The back wall is angled at 60 degrees so that the water runs down instead of against it. Exactly what I was looking for, as it fits my 36" shower space perfectly.
We found the solution to the problem! There is a weird angle at which the shower arm comes out of the wall in our stand up shower, which interferes with pivoting the shower head down far enough to comfortably shower. Due to this item, we are able to move the shower head around so we are not blasted directly in the face with water the entire time. This unit comes with two rubber gaskets and plumbers tape and is very easy to install. There have been no problems with leaks, and the shower head fits neatly on our standard sized pipe.
As you may have already heard, I bought this 90-degree adjustable shower head elbow specifically for installing a shower filter. I am very happy with it, it gave the shower head a clean look after the filter was installed Installing a routing system in a professional manner. This should not be used directly on the shower pipe itself as it may move. I used a solid brass 90 degree 1/2 inch adapter as a workaround.
Instead of those bulky holders I used before for hand held shower massage units, I bought this. Using the large holder on the shower arm was not necessary (I have holders mounted to the wall). As well as fitting the pipe coming out of the wall, the hose fit perfectly onto the shower massage unit. A really good job seems to have been done on it.
I like that it is sturdy but not cheap-looking. This shower attachment didn't pose any issues for me to install and was much needed. My shower's pipe is oddly pointing up instead of down when I remove it from the wall. Having said that, I have found only one downside to this attachment the pipe can still be turned accidentally even after it has When you bumped your head against the shower head while washing your hair, it would be as if you were grating your teeth. As soon as it is turned back, the attachment will be unscrewed. The device works just fine as long as you don't bump it.
