I believe the 1/2"NPTF is on one end, and the 1/2"NPTM is on the other
No, you can still use this shower head extender with normal sized shower pipes. Tools are not needed because the bolts can be tightly tightened by hand.
As long as the washer screen is used to remove sediment from the water, it is fine
There are no differences between females and males. Therefore, you thread the extension onto the pipe coming out of the wall, and then thread the shower head onto that.

I believe that our local hardware store should have carried such a straightforward piece of plated pipe. Despite this, about a dozen hardware stores within 75 miles did not have it in stock. The Amazon team got me the exact item I needed within one day! The answer is yes! With this new addition to our bathroom, my wife no longer has to stand on her tiptoes on a wet shower floor and reach as high as she can to hang up a.
Despite being installed 7 feet above the tub floor, they appear to be very high up. I was able to make the investment a good one when I purchased a new shower head.
With a height of 5'3", I am small. In our house, it looks like all the showers are built for taller people. Each time I had to get on my toes to reach the showerhead, and a few times I slipped and almost fell. This is the one we bought for our master bathroom, and it's very easy to install, doesn't leak, looks quite attractive, and with its functionality, is a real asset. There are two more bathrooms I ordered. I appreciate your help.
It was not installed correctly on the wall since the shower arm stands too high. I found it hard for my wife to reach the shower head or adjust it. I was able to fix the issue with this extension. By using teflon tape and a wrench, it was very easy to install. I spent about five minutes on it. The quality of the part and the fit with the existing finish are excellent.
The software installed without any problems. A few turns of Teflon tape were applied to the pipe. The tape was tightened (but not too much). The shower head has been attached again. A leak test was performed. Exactly what I needed. In order to lower the shower head, we needed to lower the shower arm You don't want too much, though. I increased the distance from the wall about 4 inches with this extension, which was attached to my existing shower pipe. It lowered the shower head approximately 4 1/2 inches and brought the head closer to the wall about 4 inches. It would have been nice to have it a couple years ago.
We need an extension for the shower set up - both of us are getting older and the shower seems shorter too. As time went on, reaching the diverter became increasingly difficult. There was only a small selection of these items at local big box stores, which helped me a great deal. A suggestion to the manufacturer, make an extension about 2 inches shorter than this size, and make these in two different sizes. I was able to install it from a low stool and did not need plumbers tape. They are sturdy, and the seal is tight. If I had known how to measure, I would have bought one slightly shorter, since we only needed.
I was pleased to see that the quality was good right out of the package. Although I installed two, each leaked badly, regardless of the type of tape used or whether pipe dope was used in their installation. )I returned all three items after deciding that I would not install #3. As a plumber, I have found that these can only operate before they are installed The assembly of the wall shower fixture is done before it is installed. They would probably take tons of torque to seat (and at best might not work at all).
Ahh. It is finally possible for me to There was almost no space between the shower arm and the ceiling in the master bathroom, while it was slightly above the top of the shower in the main bathroom. My preference for shower heads is removable ones so that I can easily clean the shower or tub. There was no way for me to remove the shower head in the master bath! Here is a little hidden It's finally here! That's something I can do! It seems to be of high quality, it is substantial. I have a strong impression that it will outlast me, although I have no plans of stepping down anytime soon. It's worth it to move forward even if you are hesitating. There's no way to overstate its quality!.
