Questions & Answers

How much does the lever weigh? Is it made of metal or plastic? I look forward to hearing from you! ?

It's only the housing on the outside that's metal, at the heart of everything is the mechanism After moderate use of three years, one of our air conditioners was faulty. A solid brass MODONA unit has been installed in its place.

Is there a reduction in water flow to the main shower head with this diverter?

It is impossible to install a full-flow diverter in all showers As far as I have seen, there are flow valves. Modern plumbing generally does not have an issue with reducing flow already because most shower accessories and the actual shower heads are already very small. Due to the fact that I had already removed all the reducers at the shower head, this resulted in a substantial drop in pressure. Taking out a large ugly high pressure full-size water heater It contains a ball valve that regulates flow.

How did you get to where you are from?

In a photo posted by a reviewer, a label with "Made in Taiwan" can be seen. In most cases, they have products made overseas that are inexpensive.

I just wanted to clarify, which one is the outlet and which one is the inlet? There is a male inlet and a male and a female outlet (or both)? What is the inlet to the right of this ?

Taking the pipe coming out the wall as the input, the female inlet is at the top left (mounts to the pipe). The male inlets are at the bottom left and right (attach shower heads to the males).

Make sure not to use any This is junk. There seems to be a reason why Delta devices have plastic handles and metal valves. I used it for about a week and then it just snapped off. Are you sure? What is plastic? This is junk! The plastic on the left has a tiny crack. Can you see it?.

Rather than the MODONA, get the MODONA! The MODONA Shower Arm Diverter Valve, Made of BRASS, is excellent
3/5

I have used it in the past. The action is smooth. This is an easy machine to assemble and lubricate. I'm going to use this It isn't as bad as it seems. There is something wrong with this one (maybe it was an Amazon redirect) and it is bad compared to Despite its female end being tapered, the connector bottoms before tightening, because of its not-tapered end. A hose with a straight end is pointing There have been washers added, as well as many overlapping layers of Teflon tape, but nothing has worked to snug it up. Depending on how the arrow is pointed, it either spins freely or points in the wrong direction. I guess it's destined for the trash!.

The thing you're buying is a scam
3/5

Buying the guts is cheap and they I was able to use it for about three months after installation. A few months later, something came loose inside the mechanism, making it difficult to use for the next several months, until failing after less than two years. There were issues with the valves not aligning properly with the index on the handle after the issue. Basically, I couldn't bypass the handle because I was in a hurry By pulling the handle out just far enough, you can get the valves to line up and divert the water after the hardware block has been crossed. In some cases, I would find that the handle would just fall off directly onto my foot or would Although it was a real pain to use, it was expensive enough that I limped along with it until it failed less than two years after its installation. Actually, I'm glad it failed, because I have to replace it now, and I won't have to feel guilty about wasting the kind of material I usually throw away. You must list the works you have done. There is no way to get it to The thing you're buying is a scam.

Having problems with the threads, the water flow, and the complete shutoff
3/5

Not at all. There are so many casts of this unit that the molds used for casting are defective. I ordered a Delta Faucet adapter for the same purpose as another friend and we both received, new in sealed package, Delta Faucet adapters with the same He claims to be using them despite being smashed, and the device is still usable. The water leaks (caused by the defective threads) and the faucet does not completely shut off the water, but he says, "It does the job. ". On the one side of my own, the threads were wavey and nothing could be screwed on, but I was curious enough to test it anyways and found that it doesn't completely eliminate water flow, rather, it stops about 95% of the time. There are a number of reasons for this, including the use of a cheap flap-type valve instead of a more desirable ball valve. You will also have a loss of water flow of around 1/4 if you use an older version Showerhead with a flow rate of 5 gallons per minute. You are in luck finding what you are looking for.

As of the time of purchase, it was defective
3/5

In a nutshell, There is no way to use this item in its intended manner. Buildings in which I live have high pressure water systems. It was possible for me to do it myself, but I had it installed by a professional in a timely manner. The product not only cuts down water coming out of the main shower head by half, but also fails to operate properly when the diverted water goes to a handheld shower. I set the handheld shower head to any setting I want, but there is very little water coming out of it. Additionally, water would still trickle out of the main shower head once it was switched on. Previously, I had the same issue with a similar diverter, and thought buying more for a name brand would be the solution to my problem. However, this did not happen. There is just something wrong with these style diverters. The shower diverter will be returned to the manufacturer. I will try to find.

There is no doubt that this DELTA shower water diverter is of excellent The water diverter I got from Home Depot has been replaced with this higher quality Delta On one end of the diverter, I have a handheld shower head with a six foot hose, and on the other, a shower head with a shower head diverter
5/5

Depending on your preference, you can either use the handheld shower head or the shower Additionally, with similar diverters, you can send 50 percent to the main shower head, and 50 percent to the handheld shower head, or whatever percentage you choose. Added to this water diverter is a thick rubber washer at the water source end of the pipe. The thick rubber washer from this Home Depot brand does not leak, unlike another similar model I had. In all, it is well designed and functional, and I am completely happy with it's appearance and functionality. It is easy to turn the diverter lever 90 degrees with the lever. There are no small leaks as all threads are well formed and pipe lips are smooth, not sharp, thus preventing small In my current configuration, I have attached the shower head and handheld shower head hose directly to these threads, without using Teflon tape. There appear to be no No Teflon Tape is used to connect the thick rubber washer to the input side of the water diverter, and there is no The Roger Louie Show,.

A plumbing fixture I've ever purchased is the best I've ever bought
5/5

A plumbing fixture I've ever purchased is the best I've ever bought. In addition to this, I used this to install a hand sprayer in our shower that could be switched between the wand and the shower. Coupled with the shower, we use the wand on the baby and dog, while the shower on I appreciate how solidly built this piece is, and how intuitive and smooth the quarter-turn action is. In addition, the knob points the direction of water flow so the user knows which leg is on when it's If the valve is fully switched either way, water is only released from one leg at any given time.
