There's no answer to your question that I can give The doors have been in three showers for four years now and they are still working just fine. The person who actually knows what percentage of zinc is in a product other than the manufacturer is a blessing in disguise.

A small hole has been cut out of the flange in the photo. This is done so that the flange can be screwed against the side of the arm to restrict its movement. There was no such feature on the flange that arrived. In my case, I bought this particular one in order to get that feature, which I found to be a disappointment. But, if you do not care for that feature, the arm and flange are a good, easy to install set of mounts.
Heavy and solid, should last for a long time. I am very happy with all the parts that I have purchased from Delta. The faucets, shower heads, and sprayers all have a solid, heavy feel to them, and are worth the price.
I have no trouble installing it. Teflon tape or pipe dope along with a wrench are all you need. A screwdriver or carefully positioned screwdriver may be necessary. Finished in under five minutes if you take your time. We updated an outdated finish from the 80s in brass quickly.
There is no doubt that the quality and finish on this is outstanding. Since I just installed it, I have no idea how it will perform in humid conditions. A star was deducted because the flange fit was so tight that The only thing that notices it is the framed wall end. I put it that way to ensure that this is not a major drawback. Fitting flanges snugly is desirable, but the tolerance was too tight for my liking.
It is not a large locking flange as shown in the picture, but a friction fit.

I like to have faucets from any brand in my shower room as long as they're of good quality.
