I just wanted to let you know that the flange is 0 inches. Two inches wide and 9 inches tall, it has an outer diameter of 2 inches. Count me in for 7 inches!

Overall a good product. My only complaint was the threaded end that connects to the shower head was sharp and sliced into the rubber grommet on the shower head, Although I could have put it in reverse, all the contractors I spoke with said the right way to install it was to attach the longer end to In this case, it was left to connect the shorter end (with a sharp finish). As a result, I had to replace the rubber grommet and apply Teflon tape to ensure that the seal was watertight.
It is true that these shower arms are the best still. It is a pleasure to work with them. The quality of the threads and the finish are impeccable. In contrast to the others that look cheap and flat, the flange has nice depth, which makes for a much better appearance. Additionally, the 1/2" center hole comes with a rubber grommet insert which keeps the flange from falling out of the hole and prevents scratches.
We needed an extension spout for our new shower head, and this one I found the piece to be very matte and shiny, and I felt like it to be of high quality and sturdy. As an added bonus, the package included a roll of Teflon tape as well.
A new shower arm was installed in place of an old one. Compared to the old flange, the new one is nice. With the rain shower head, I can take a shower as if it were a rain storm. An upgrade is definitely needed. You did a great job.
The finish isn't the perfect match for my Delta Champagne bronze showerhead, but it's darn As we saved more than Delta offered as an alternative, we felt it was totally worth it. This is a very good quality product. I'm really impressed with the solidity and smoothness of the threads.
