Our original Intelliseat, which we purchased from Costco, was a beloved product and we are still using it even when the sprayer mechanism gets stuck and can't navigate out of the way. A person had to carefully maneuver to the back or else stay alert! A good back wash is important! It was replaced by the basic Costco toilet model now sold at that store. People who just like to wash their seats will find this seat to be fine. What we liked best about the Intelliseat was, again, (TMI alert,) it's powerful stream that could be used to clean out the lower inch and a half of the rectum with careful positioning. Consequently, we gave it to my mother and came to Amazon to buy another Intelliseat of the same model. Unlike the earlier Intelliseat that had broken, this new Jetstream does a lot better, but it has a third to half the force of the earlier model. rated it 5 stars because it is pretty good and you would never notice what you were missing out on unless you had the earlier model. Sadly, there isn't a separate psi metric for shoppers to use in order to assess the water pressure of the sprayers across product descriptions without having to buy and install the sprayers and test them out before deciding if they are effective enough.

The two purchases I made were for my own household, and the other two were for my friends, based on my original enthusiastic recommendation (they work great when they work). There are now 3 out of 4 units with failed water heaters since the purchase (Now we can squirt ice cold water from the bidets! )--all of which show exactly the same problem, which is related to the computer control in the unit. Customer service is not available. They have all been out of warranty for 15 months to 3 years, since they are 18 months to 3 years old. In between the new unit and the refurbished replacement, AMDM customer support refused to do anything but offer a refurbished replacement - without warranty - for $199, as much as 75% of the purchase price! Customer service that is 75% failure rate is clearly not acceptable. A flaw in the design is obvious. You can rather spend your money with a trusted brand that is reliable and has excellent customer service.

As well as the quality being the same. I have been looking at bidet seats for a long time and finally found one that is the best value for the money. However, I would have to spend $1310 on a Toto to get an automatic flush. I am in awe of that, since you can get an automatic shaver through a wireless device From Amazon, you can flush your system for $100. Easy to install and simple to use, this bidet is the perfect solution for any home. I think it speaks for itself. temperature controls, the water temperature controls, His and Hers back spray, oscillation control, Stop control, water pressure adjustment, warm/hot air blow dryer for your bottom/front, and easy mounting clips to remove quite well, and they do their job so well that they are able to advertise themselves. The blow dryer is not included. I feel this is not very effective. You still have to use toilet paper to blot dry (not wipe, for there is no need to do this). Although you use less toilet paper, you do use less. It is this reason that I rate it four instead of five stars.
I hadn't given much thought to bidets as an important part of our house, yet for Americans as a modern and civilised country, I was surprised they are not in every home. The surface is smooth, simple, and hygienic. It is NOT possible to wipe out everything with a wipe. These bidets are extremely important to me, and I hope that others realize this as well. An IntelliSeat from Costco was my first purchase a couple of years ago and I'm still in love with I ordered it from Amazon this time because I thought we should add it to our guest bathroom as well. Our plumbing contractor opened the unit and tried to attach it to the base (standard Toto Drake model), but he couldn't because the screws were too far apart in comparison with the holes that had been provided. After inspecting the old one in the Master bath, he noticed that it had the standard 6 inches of space, which is why it fit so well. Interestingly, the manufacture's web site does not mention this change, nor does it mention that this is for special toilets with large Please note that the holes on your base toilet unit and this seat differ, so if you're considering buying this product, you should take note of the difference in the holes.
