Our recommendation is to install a freestanding faucet, as this is a freestanding tub. We are here to help. If you have any further questions, let us know.

I doubt two people could fit comfortably on it once it's installed, but once there, it looks great. The installation of ours was relatively easy since we didn't have to hook it up to plumbing in the bathroom There was only a short distance to go from the driveway to the deck, halfway down the garden (where the delivery people dropped it off). As it wasn't very long and it was flat or downhill, it didn't need to go very far Despite that, it was quite a task. You will be out of luck if you buy this and then try to maneuver it up a flight of stairs Getting back on track will require the help of a bunch of strong people. Without the legs (which need to be attached), the tub weighs 401 pounds. It takes you 50 pounds to move the legs, so you're moving a 350-pound load The weight of the cast iron chunk is about 2 pounds. Those four large, hulking men (or women) might be able to do "this" With five people of average size and strength, it's easier, and with six (which is what we did), it's still easier. Taking on the giant rock will be pretty easy if there are at least five or six people in the group. But things get a little more difficult if any constricted spaces must be navigated (like a doorway or staircase). There is a lip all the way around the edge of the tub, so lifting it from the top is easy (wear gloves to make it easier for your hands to lift). After you've hefted this beast to where it's going, you'll need a few people to flip the tub upside down so that the legs can be attached. There is nothing particularly complex about the attached file (the instructions are To set it into place, you must flip it upright, level it, and set it in its intended position. Leveling is made easy with adjustable screw pads on the bottom of the feet, but make sure you have a large level on hand to make sure everything is level. Also, you have to make sure that wherever you decide to place it, the concrete floor will be able to handle the weight of 400 pounds plus one or two people + a tub full of water. In the beginning, we had constructed a deck using two joists, four 4-foot joists, and a 16-foot joist Cross-shaped pieces (2x4) arranged at a distance of 2 feet The appearance of the "ft" length - 2x4s that have been grade treated. Nevertheless, after thinking about the weight, I decided to add a few more cross pieces to give a 1-inch wide cross Under the deck surface, there should be a 6-ft spacing. While I didn't want to find out the hard way, I didn't want to ask later. It goes without saying that you'll need a plumber to hook up the bathtub to your system inside (we fill our outside tub with a hose, but later we'll do something more permanent). I don't think the tub was very durable, even though it was not damaged. But before signing off with the delivery guy, you might want to open the crate and check everything there is in it. Astonished by what we saw. Even though setting up the tub is a bit of a pain, it is well worth the effort.
However, even though I haven't installed the tub yet, the delivery was very quick and the packaging around the tub is very encouraging that the tub will be handled well. By just looking at the tub, it does seem to be a great product and is beautifully Especially with the current price and free shipping, I would highly recommend this product.
