We only offer one replacement knob here for the round escutcheon plate. After breaking down gradually, these knobs can most easily be replaced by removing the hot/cold indicator insert near the bottom of the mounting screw. Please make sure that the knob is on, pointing directly at the center of the screen. Gently pry out the cover plate by prying with a putty knife or thin screwdriver, or similar tool. The knob is connected to the faucet assembly by a screw underneath. Now turn it off and disconnect it. You should place the replacement knob next to the broken one in the same spot you left it. Attach the stainless steel mounting screw to the driver, then tighten on. the front face should be gently pushed in before the cover plate snaps on. The work is done for you.
A different sort of person might not approve. Throughout my lifetime, I've bought some of these. You should keep in mind that the purchase of a more durable metal handle won't fit. A plastic version would seem to be right for how Moen intended their temperature controlled valves used. However, if a gorilla touches you with its mouth, you might have the handle broken. Thus, it will suffice simply to brush it gently (avoid doing much more than that with your valve, and turn smoothly with your knob. corroded or filled with hard water deposits, or when the valve is cracked, the handle can be difficult to turn. If you need another one, you will have to buy one as well.
