There is a lot of potential for this product, but it is simply not thick enough, not warped, and far too costly

Three thumbs down from me. As a result of my experience with other vanity tops that also required a side splash, I assumed the thick would be the same as the thickness of the back Since getting the right color and texture was so important to me, I didn't take into account how thin the The vanity top's back splash is accurately described -- but it is less than half the thickness of the back splash. As I can't think of any other application for this piece, I have taken one star away. * A second star was taken away because the piece has a slight warp. As for being compared to the wall, I am not comparing it to the wall, as walls are commonly out of square. Without a doubt, there is a distinct bow in I have deducted one star because of the extreme price difference between this and the nearly 1 star model Vanity tops with marble side splashes have a 20-inch marble side splash. I'm sorry The price of molded plastic is $50 a month on lease.

As you sand and round the mating edge it can be "paired" with the vanity tops however, the curves of the rear splash don't match, so it will need to be sanded and rounded. Despite the fact that it looks nice, it requires a lot of effort to maintain its appearance. My opinion is that it is not worth the price. In my opinion, the value of the product should not exceed.

It was not possible to use the side splashes because they were bowed by 1/4"

A good majority of Swan's products are good, however the side splash on their vanity top is faulty. In response, Swan assures me the product cannot bow, it is a thermoset material, so this can only be a result of the manufacturing process. A few months ago, I bought one in September and checked to make sure it was not damaged, but I never imagined that it could have been bent. The Amazon 30 day return window was what I was looking for before we went to install it, so I am stuck with the first option. My first reaction was, wow, this must be an anomaly. That second one, the subject of this review, is precisely the same as the first. While I will be able to return it, I am not sure how I will be able to accomplish the job with a straight side splash. My final payment has been delayed by this fiasco because I am a contractor. It is wonderful that they have these vanity tops, but if they fail to supply a satisfying side splash, they have no value.

The first one was taken, and I It has been replaced with a second one

The first one was taken, and I The second one was replaced by a twisted one. This product cannot get out of shape after it has been molded, according to Swanstone. The company doesn't seem to realize that during shipping the product may be in trucks that can reach 160+ degrees fahrenheit for several hours. I have not installed it yet as I am trying to flatten the product.

Side splash at the sink isn't painted in the same color as the tahiti desert finish! This does not make me.
