True. It was closer to a half

It is rough on the bottom and on the back.

There is no such thing as this. It is just the splash on the side in an off-white Specks of very small gray dots are scattered throughout the white color.

Do they really have 2 inches of thickness?

There is more than one inch there.

It was fine when I tried it on, but on the pictures it looks pure white but when I wear it, it appears to be speckled.

In our purchase we found a cabinet without a backslash and a side splash It was great to see this. It was even cut to size without any problems using our Ryobi miter saw. There are only a couple of layers and it's only about 1/2 thick There are some grey speckles on the countertop (it's not a solid white color), but it still goes great with our solid white countertops. Thank you! We are very happy with the results!.
