I used tile cleaner to clean the tile area thoroughly, removing any soap scum or other contaminants. The rubber cup was then covered in instant glue, pressed down hard, and snapped as instructed by the leavers. Unless it's cut off, I don't think it'll come off.
It kept falling off the edge of my marble shower.
The vacuum suction is excellent. It has been in place for four months and has never been removed or relocated. It was only a few days ago that I relocated it, and man, was it ON! Just make sure the surface is completely dry before proceeding. Much better design and construction than the other plastic one, which required drilling holes and screws to install. Bopai has the advantage of allowing you to relocate if necessary. Last week, I placed a second order for a different shower.
I realize this seems self-evident, and I hope no one is offended, but I believe it isn't always so obvious - Especially with some of the more modern tile, grout, and sealant designs - However, in order to form the required seal, the suction "cup" must cross over any grout lines or be applied to even lightly textured glass, stone, ceramic, or fiberglass surfaces and maintain a sufficient seal for an extended period of time. br>br>Several years ago, in our old house, I struggled for months with a different product before realizing that a transparent film of tile-and-grout sealant had been applied to our 4" bath-tub surround. a previous owner's tiled enclosure Although we would not have noticed it otherwise, there was enough variation in the thickness of the sealant (and the presence of the sealant itself didn't help) to prevent an adequate seal from forming when we shone a flashlight at an angle across the tile. We used a single-use plastic bag to keep everything together. Although it still fell down every few months and had to be pressed back in place, it held the wand during shower after shower after using an edged razor scraping tool and a gritty cleanser to remove just enough of the sealant directly under the suction mechanism, it held the wand during shower after shower. If the texture is a design feature, I believe following the same prep instructions as others, then using the adhesive disk between the wall and the suction "cup" to form a second, flexible seal for wherever air is finding its way in, then following the directions as if it were a perfectly smooth surface should produce the desired result, assuming the adhesive is up to the task. br>br>Alternatively, instead of using an adhesive disk, you could coat the cup with a layer of clear silicone sealant and smooth the excess. br>br>In terms of this product, it's the third we've bought as we remodel, and my first one has been holding up for months - a lot longer than any other suction-type device product that has been used - in any form - I've never used before! I'm completely blown away!

This is fantastic! Sticking to the wall isn't a problem for me. There's even a sticky adhesive smooth pad included in case you need it.
I am a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist. For handicap accessibility, hire a specialist to install grab bars and remodel the bathroom. br>I like these because many of my clients' households have people who sit in the shower while others stand. This can be repositioned to suit the needs of various users. br>I've bought a few of these mounts for my clients because they're so much better than anything I've seen in the big box stores. br>I've had great success suctioning these to tile and other surfaces.
However, it was situated quite high and protruded quite far into the shower. I simply accepted it as a part of my life. I decided to look for a holder despite not knowing they existed, and after some research, I settled on this one, primarily because it was adjustable. WOW! It has incredible suction! I positioned it so that the water falls directly on my shoulders and close to the shower stall wall. I know it's a minor detail, but it significantly improves the quality of my showers. It was by accident that I discovered how to change it. From the bottom, you must push the plastic holder up. That's when I realized it. a flawless result I would strongly suggest it.
It's a lovely unit with excellent suction and hold power. My handheld shower head and hose are quite heavy, but this unit easily handles them. I've owned four other suction units over the years, and this one is by far the best; I didn't need the 3M adhesive disc, but it's there in case I do.
It's precisely what I was looking for. When I shave my legs in the shower, the water from the shower head washes the shaving cream off my legs before I can shave; however, with this handy device, I can lower the shower head, point the water to the wall, and still rinse the razor and my hands without washing the shaving cream off my legs. The suction is extremely strong. br>br> If you're having suction issues, I believe you haven't cleaned the area thoroughly enough. Before applying the device, clean the area with rubbing alcohol and allow it to dry. br>br>It's nice to buy a product that does exactly what it says on the box!.
It really works. Because the shower walls are a dimpled pre-fab, we were concerned that this holder for our hand-held shower wouldn't work. Material that has been fabricated (as seen in the photo). We've struggled in the past with granite walls that wouldn't hold a suction cup, so we had to resort to command strips. Despite the fact that the description of this holder says it only works on very smooth surfaces, we decided to take a chance based on other reviews and the fact that it comes with an adhesive disc in case we need it. Before moving on to the adhesive disc, we tried the suction. It was firmly fixed in place. It's only been up for a day, but it's already incredibly tight. We attempted to use suction cups to hold a small shower caddy on the same shower, but it was ineffective. This holder's suction is 20 times stronger. If it doesn't work and we have to use the disc, I'll update this review.
It's ideal! I bought it for my 7-year-old son's bathroom. Showering can begin at the age of one year. We have a handheld showerhead, but the angle was inconvenient for her because it was too high. She can get there herself with this product. We've got one available. The suction cup is perfect for the piece fiberglass tub/shower. It's been up for about a week and it's still going strong. We're using a chrome-plated handheld showerhead. Because it's made of plastic, it's relatively light, which I'm sure helps. I like that the 3M pad is included in case the suction fails or if the tub surround needs to be replaced in the future. This product has exceeded my expectations!.
It wasn't available at the local Home Depot. Ace, Walmart, and Target are three of the most well-known retailers in the United States. It was not in the possession of anyone. Then, on Amazon, I came across this. Because the shower head is so heavy, I was skeptical that it would hold it, but it did. The suction function is excellent, and it is quite powerful. If the suction fails, they include an adhesive circle to keep it attached to the shower, but the suction has been sufficient for me. I would strongly suggest it.
