It's an excellent set. The toilet paper holder's depth is shorter than I expected, so I only gave it four stars. In the beginning, it's difficult to untangle a brand new roll. Prior to purchasing a product, I never thought to double-check details like this.
Looks OK. The TP bar does not appear to be made of plastic, as some have suggested. It has a metal tone to it. br>br>However, the installation's design is something I despise. It's the most incomprehensible design I've ever seen. Although wall plates have holes to allow for some movement, if you want the towel bar and TP bar to be horizontal, you must mount them vertically on the wall. As a result, vertical play is available but horizontal play is not. As a result, you must drill holes in the wall that are exactly the same width as the bar, or you will be stuck. Drill once and then measure three times.
It's ok, except for the fact that the picture shows a brushed nickel toilet paper holder insert and it comes with a cheap dark grey plastic insert. I'd give it four stars if it had everything in the picture, but I can't stand false advertising, so it gets two stars for the seller's deception.
**Recently updated: For the following reasons, I am changing my rating to four stars: The quality is excellent; it is not plastic-like and painted; it is not difficult to install, as other reviewers claim; it didn't take long for my husband to figure out how to do it; and it is not difficult to remove, as other reviewers claim. It isn't as simple as changing a light bulb, but it isn't difficult either. The only reason I gave it a lower rating was because the color didn't match my other brushed nickel perfectly, but it's close enough that I don't think it'll be noticeable once installed. It comes highly recommended from me. *
br>An earlier version of this review can be found here: br>To match the rest of my brush nickel handles, I ordered Brushed Nickel bathroom accessories. br>Instead of brushed nickel, I got chrome. br>Because some people might not notice the difference, I've included a photo of it. It's difficult to see the difference in the photo, but it's noticeable.
It was extremely convenient to have all of the items we needed to replace in our bathroom in one package, with matching finishes and detailing (we were replacing outdated wood accessories). We had no intention of installing a robe hook, but it was included in the package, so we tried it out and love it just as much as the rest of the room. The towel bar is designed to hold a hand towel rather than a full-size towel (it's not as far away from the wall or as sturdy as a bath towel), but we can still use it for full-size towels.
The toilet paper holder is a tad on the small side. It's not possible to use a regular Charmin roll.
Simple to set up. Very lovely.
The package did not include any instructions. The towel bar is too thin, and when extended, the connection threads are visible.
