The twine is about 1mm thick. It's thought to be thick enough to make a very delicate bracelet out of it. They are intended to be used as decorations on greeting cards, etc. Use this for anything that doesn't require a lot of A thicker line would be better. There is a lot of variation in the thickness, although it is about the same as craft baker's twine.
I have used this as a trellis for my cucumbers outdoors. The only difference is that I double the amount.
I'm here. Even though this is an old thread, I thought I would share my As a professional groomer, I used to clean dogs. It is sturdy but it smells like gasoline. It might be good for outdoors work and gardening, but not for use for wrapping gifts and hanging ornaments. smells so strongly of gasoline that it's nauseating (? as if the manufacturer marinated it in a tank of gas for months. It was even left outside on my balcony for two solid weeks in the sun, wind, and rain in hopes that the scent would diminish but no luck. Although it smells the same, its intensity remains the same. The purchase turned out to be disappointing, and I would not recommend it for use in indoor crafts.
This is NOT something you should buy. The smell was so bad that I had never opened anything before. The smell of chemicals is extremely strong. Since it started making me feel sick, I had no choice but to throw it out.
The first thing to say is that As soon as I opened it, however, I was hit with a strong petroleum smell. That smells like chemical byproducts but not like "hmm, I think this may be a byproduct of something," but like "holy drainpan, Batman! I change my car's oil regularly and never have it smell like this! It's not a joke, I'm serious. In the past, I've had hot used car oil pour down my arm, but it never smelled quite this pungent. The smell is like oil. What is the cause of this? There is no way for me to know. There's just one problem with that it's a big I've read other reviews and it seems that some people got the oily smell, and others didn't. It is likely that I have gotten one of the bad ones because mine Second, although this twine is pretty, it isn't very strong at all. Despite what the seller claims, this is only described as being around 1mm, so I probably should have anticipated how weak this would be, but I'm not sure what a "gardening application" would be. My outdoor use of it caused it to break pretty quickly. Would it make sense if each individual part of one plant could be held individually? The purpose of this is not really clear to me. This is not something I would use for a craft project because of its Furthermore, it's not very durable as far as outdoors gear is concerned. As well, I am not sure I want whatever is causing it to smell chemically seeingping into my gardening work since I am unsure why it has that smell.
In the description, it says "Durable String for Gardening Applications", which means "Durable String for very light gardening applications". The reviews would have helped me to make a better decision. In my opinion, this string is great for arts and crafts, but not for gardening.
Two millimeters. This is perfect for what I need. The product was smaller than expected, but I was still able to use it. As well as attaching die cut favor tags, I use it to make small banners. 3 inches is about the size of the roll. A diameter of just under 2" and a height of 5". There are two mm in width to the twine.
It is exactly what I was looking for. My rating of three stars is due to the experience I had after taking off the plastic wrap. There was this awful chemical smell in the air. I am referring to. The smell is very strong. I felt it transfer to my hands because it was so strong! As soon as I sat it on my craft desk, my craft room slowly started to smell. Lastly, I am not using this part of the present for myself. Instead, I am sending it to my entire There was really no clear direction as to what to do. After washing it, I dried it with a blow dryer. Now that I think about it. Despite the slight improvement in smell, it did not completely solve the problem.
Making scratching posts for my cat using twine is what I do. I wrap material around her post so she can dig around it and protect it from scratches. She loves to scratch up the deck outside so I use twine to protect the post. Despite being thin, this twine is not tough enough to hold up to severe weather conditions and is not resistant to cat shredding. Through the abuse that my cat and the weather have taken on over a year, the twine I first used, purchased from a local hardware store, has been much more durable. It took just a few months for this round of twine to be removed entirely. In terms of rating, I would low-ball it, but I assume that people don't buy this for There's nothing wrong with it - it lives up to the hype This is just twine. It is not a special thread, nor is it a strong thread. It is just twine.
My wedding favors were wrapped in these for decoration - The tags that were tied around the succulent pots were small enough to fit through a small hole for the thank you tags, yet sturdy enough to hold them together. I used it for about 14 years Plants should be spaced 15 inches apart in succulent pots. A bow of sufficient length can be tied tightly around the wrap. After wrapping 140 pots I had enough twine left over to tie the remaining pots.
