It would be better to use galvanized outside instead of powder coated, but theoretically you could use Outdoors assuming any chips or scratches are covered. The material will not be as durable as galvanized steel, though. Environment is also important, for instance, a humid environment or environment near a body of water would be of greater risk, and an environment with saltwater would
In order to support the middle of the shelf the wood bow required a third shelf to span 24 x 96 inches. You must also take into account the material of the shelves you are going to use.
As you can see in the picture, the folding and down positions do not lock
It sits within a 1" space. I cut the shelf 24" and the bracket sits in about 1".

As a complement to these, I added some gas strut supports that actually fit right into I ended up drilling a couple of extra holes on the bracket (after some trial and error) but it turned out well. These were used to put in a fold - I am using the table in my garage, it can be folded down exactly like I wanted and it has a gas strut that gives it a little support when it's brought up to keep it from slamming back down when someone lets go of it accidentally. My desire to purchase a product like this again if I have a future need for it is very strong.
It was just what I needed to get the job done.
As I was contemplating several fold up tables, I decided to give these wall brackets a chance. attached them to studs through drywall, and then mounted a worktop on top of the brackets of 2 feet by 4 feet. The worktop has been topped with a shallow rack holding shop towels and sprays, and above that I added a pegboard and a small light. I was not expecting the brackets to be as heavy and sturdy as they are. A high level of quality was also found in the hardware. They are not the cheap pop metal screws I have encountered before that easily come off, but they are quite robust. I wish the wall mounting screws were longer than two inches, though. In fact, with 1/2 inch drywall, I still have about 1 1/2 inches into the wall studs, and therefore, I feel As far as I can tell, the brackets have held the worktop remarkably steady, so I hope the weight limits in the description are While it might be wise to treat this as a fully supported workbench and just pound on something heavy, it is probably not wise to do so. Nevertheless, I liked how easy it was to place the worktop in place, and how easy it was to drop it back down when I was finished using it. It was more sturdy and stable than some of the plastic fold-up worktables I tried out previously. Several other reviewers had their worktops not straight out at 90 degrees due to brackets that failed to hold them straight. Worktops in my kitchen are held directly against the wall at 90 degrees. A bad batch of the product may have been made by the manufacturer?.
A sturdy product. Workbench with a professional look. My garage needed a sturdy workbench that would last for many years. I bought two sets that provided a full 8 feet of bench space. I found the installation to be fairly easy and went as expected. There was only one downside, the lag bolts which came with it. In the end, I decided to buy my own since the ones provided would not have been big enough or long enough to support the weight it was advertised to support. Aside from the shortcomings of the construction, it is.
For the first set, it cost about $20 less per pair, and the second one was about $30 less I had high hopes for the project There was no way they could be real. All of these belong to another category. These weigh easily 5 pounds each as opposed to the first set, which weighs about 2 pounds As for the wall This side has five mounting holes (the other had three), and the release latch is located right at the very end of these brackets, so they are much easier to reach and collapse than the others (the catch was six inches in the middle of the bracket, which was awkward to reach). As a result, the first set couldn't hold even basic weight, and the side structures bowed out A BEND! It is absurd to allow the bracket to have no support, causing the shelf to lean forward. No comparison can be made The price is still very reasonable. I love how convenient they are to install, and how strong they are. It is a great product! I am extremely pleased with it.
The purpose of this purchase is to store a fold- up I use a heavy 4' x 2' butcher block as a surface for my screen printing table. In addition to holding up nicely, it stands up to the pressure of printing. Despite my best efforts, I ended up needing to shimm the tabletop (see photo), because the diagonal bar that holds it up protruded just a little bit above the horizontal brackets, which meant the table couldn't be folded up properly. A 3/16" shim worked well for me. Alternately, I could have routed the wood to ensure that the diagonal bars were not impeded by the top of the diagonal bars. I did not have a router handy, so this was just as good as a router.
After purchasing another set of brackets for half the price, I immediately returned them because they looked and felt cheaply made, and I didn't trust them to hold my office desk in place or hold the items I placed on top. These were double the price, but I decided to give them a shot and they were absolutely worth the investment. The brackets appear to be of good quality and very sturdy I made it. They didn't take that long to install and don't move at all in my desk. According to the description, they came at 90 degrees angles. We would purchase this product.
As it turns out, it is quite hard to find a bracket that extends this far for a reasonable price. All the ones that I found at Amazon or my local Home Depot only have arms that extend 16" from the bracket. There have been a few times I have tried to find adjustable pens but I have not been successful. I am searching for exactly what these do.
