(mounted into studs for the plates) Strong and able to withstand weight. A stud was used for one of the brackets on the cup shelves, and the other just had a wall anchor, and even the rest were When you are ready to put them up, do a quick install.

There are great shelf brackets, but no hardware to go with them

I am extremely pleased with these brackets and my new wood textbook shelves are functioning great. The hardware that comes with them only works with the drywall anchors included which is why I only gave it 3 stars. The screws included should be anchored into studs, and the bracket is so large that the threads on the stud would only reach about 1/4". As a result, I had to make another trip to the hardware store to buy.

The brackets are a great product, and I'll be purchasing more in the future. There are no screws with anchors included in this kit but we recommend visiting Lowes to pick up these HeadLOC structural wood screws. The shelves were a perfect match, and we knew they wouldn't move when they were set into the studs.

I like the look, but I find that they can be easily scratched

In my opinion, I really like the look of this product, and I love how it supports the shelf above the shelf, as opposed to most other similar products that support the shelf According to other comments, the gold is actually just spray painted on, which means they scratch easily and look dingy pretty fast. I was carrying one around for weeks and trying to find coordinating hardware, but by the time I ended up actually using it, it was utterly awful! Fortunately, I ended up with two extra in my project, so I didn't have to use one that I'd been carrying It doesn't matter if they're in the studs or not they'll support virtually anything. If you can't get into a stud, you should invest in drywall anchors or toggle bolts of high quality.

It's great to see brackets like these. Installing them is easy and they look expensive. It's important to note that I did not do the installation myself, but my friend's boyfriend was able to get a few shelves up a few minutes after we left, so that's what I have to go on. Due to the weight of some items on my shelves and the size of the screws that came with the bracket, I used my own longer screws and some anchors. In general, I liked the product very much.

I love this idea. This shelf is the perfect addition to any garage. Strong and simple to install, brackets offer a great deal of functionality. With the use of a stud finder, I attained the desired result. Also, I used stick-on furniture protectors to prevent the ball from rolling off of The brackets were a big help in getting stuff off the garage floor and finding a new use for an old and heavy board. I definitely recommend them. It's not like I'm a handy person, I learn things as I go along. We are looking at brackets that are 12". The Board is made up of 10 members There is plenty of room for it in there due to its width of 11 inches.

They are not heavy duty AT ALL, we used them as shelving for a bookshelf set. Simply pressing down on the brackets causes them to bend very easily. With a single finger, we can bend the wooden shelf downward nearly two inches, even if it is positioned on the bracket. (We installed four brackets for ten feet of pine shelving, which should have been overkill, but rather we installed them to fool the eye. ) In this case, it isn't the shelf itself that bends, but the brackets. A RIDICULOUS act. Now that I have to turn to someone else for work, i'm in a pickle. In the event that this shelf were filled with books, the brackets themselves would not be parallel to the floor but rather tilt forward. I am extremely.
