Technically, the answer is zero. 6 is equal to 25 (1/4 inch). 35 mm. As a result, a 6 mm pin would be slightly loose in a 0. A total of 25 holes were drilled. If you use a 6 mm drill bit, you'll need a 0. It would be excessive to use 25 pins.

These shelf pegs are metric 6 mm in size, which is smaller than the 1/4" size stated. In a 1/4" drilled hole, it will fall out. which is too large to fit on these pegs.
They appear to be sturdy, but the molding and finish are lacking. They lack the sleek clean shape of most shelf supports I've previously purchased, with a rough unfinished look, especially on the end of the flat shelf support side- just as you can see in their picture- so use them where they won't be visible.
Be aware that these shelf pins come in a variety of sizes (usually 4, 5, or 6 mm), so make sure you order the correct ones.
Those pegs were brittle and prone to breaking. I was able to replace the plastic pegs with very durable metal pegs after purchasing two packages of these. br>I don't have to worry about a shelf falling and causing the shelves beneath it to fall with it. br>Wish these had been used instead of the plastic ones from the start.
I needed to replace some of the plastic pegs on my kitchen shelves and wanted to replace them with something more durable to avoid a future disaster. The price was ideal, and I was able to replace all of my kitchen's shelving pegs.
Hundreds of holes were drilled, and each one fit perfectly. There were no QC issues with any of the pins I received. I have four pins that are holding up two 2ft x 2ft shelves (some of which are stacked with heavy books) with no problems. The wood, I believe, will fail much sooner than these.
These simple pegs for my shelves appeal to me. I also use the shelf brackets (but prefer these) because they provide good support and are unobtrusive.
I measured my old ones and they are exactly the same size as these. Don't make the mistake of assuming they'll fit. Use a drill bit to measure your old pegs or holes. For a hundred of these, this is a fantastic deal.
