We've used these to support heavy shelves with a lot of books, which I believe are heavier than a typical microwave; my best guess is that four supporting a shelf would be sufficient - They should be able to support a lot of weight if you use 6 as the number.

The shelf is held in place by a 3/4-inch section at the bottom. They're built to last. They serve as shelves for old cameras in my curio.

After my bookshelf went missing during a move, I ordered these to replace it. Regrettably, the peg that fits into the hole is far too large. Not wanting to throw them away or try to return them, I looked for them in other bookshelves but couldn't find them. I tried them in my cupboards and other places where they are used, but they were far too large for anything in my home. I assumed these items were fairly standard because I'd purchased them in the past from brick and mortar stores without regard for peg hole size, but I guess I was mistaken.
These are for 1/4" drilled holes in glass shelves, but they also work on wood shelves, and the protective plastic prevents scratching of the glass or wood. On the L-shaped part of the L-shaped part of the L-shaped part of the L-shaped shaped clip vs. a tab that can be removed The plastic coating is inconsistent; some have a thicker coating with a bump, while others have a thinner coating with a flat surface, causing the glass shelf to not lay level and rock a little. I only needed (8) clips for the glass shelf, so I swapped them out several times to make sure the glass shelf was level and there were no gaps between the glass and the clips. Because the wood shelves are heavy and solid, I had no issues with them. If the tabs are uniform in thickness and level, the removable plastic coated tabs might be better for glass shelves. To get the right size, go to http://www. amazon. com/product/product I used the end of a 1/4" drill bit to fit into the predrilled holes and it worked perfectly, so I ordered the 1/4" clips. I'd use all of the L-s if I really needed them. If you use shaped clips for glass shelving, the uneven plastic coating and bumps on the clips will prevent the glass shelf from being supported firmly or level on the clip. I prefer clips with consistent-thickness tabs, particularly those with removable tabs. In addition, the seller was unable to respond to my question about the manufacturer's weight limit for each clip, which is used to determine the strength and weight capacity of the clips.
I had a difficult time finding these brackets, but Amazon made it simple. Just a penny's worth of feedback on quantity: because a shelf requires four brackets, it would have been ideal if the total quantity sold in fours. Instead of 25, there are 28 pieces. It's a good thing I had three extra brackets to finish the seven shelves I put up. For my thoughts, I'm charging a penny once more. There's no need to be concerned. Thank You.
Our curio cabinets are overflowing with items, but it's difficult to part with them because they all hold memories. In two of our cabinets, these brackets fit perfectly. Two more shelves had to be cut to fit in the cabinets, and the brackets appear to be sturdy and have a nonslip plastic coating. They aren't gleaming and blend in well with the rest of the cabinet. I'm considering purchasing more to replace the plastic ones I currently have in one of my cabinets. This is a fantastic purchase.
However, I tested the fit on a bookcase we already had, and they were perfect and elegant. They were huge pegs with a lot of weight to them. Just make sure you're using 1/4" or 5 mm (yes, there's a difference!). ) and if you need 5 mm pegs, these are excellent pegs! I strongly suggest that you:.
The rubber end pieces that grip the glass shelf are a nice touch. Because it's sturdy and the right size, and it's simple to put together and holds the glass shelf in place. The rubber on the end pieces is nice because it helps to keep the glass in place on the shelf. What else is there to say about a L joint that holds a shelf in place? The bronze hue is elegant and timeless. I would strongly advise you to use it as a shelf holder. Make sure you measure the hole properly first. I like this product because it is of good quality. These shelf pegs were purchased to replace missing pegs in a curio cabinet I received as a gift. They are identical to the ones that came with the cabinet, are very well-made, and offer excellent value for money. They're quite thick, and the coating on the peg allows them to hold a heavy glass shelf in place without it shifting. They are fantastic.
Other stainless steel products similar to this one do not have the soft rubber dip that this one does. If your display case is made of wood or a brown color family, these almost vanish. They're even better than the ones that came with my display cases originally. I'm very pleased.
